Staff was very empathetic to my tardiness in checking in due to missing a connecting train from Paris and stayed late to check me in. Very much appreciated and I am definitely looking forward to staying at The Originals hotel again in the future.
We were not happy with this hotel and therefore left a day early. Our main concern was that there was little air circulation and no air condition, only a fan, that made an annoying noise, and if we opened the window there was a lot of noise from the street. Even though we were not in Rouen during a particularly hot time, the room was extremely warm. The hotel room only had basic facilities, no fridge or ironing board. There was no elevator in the hotel. The breakfast however was fine and the hotel was centrally located.
The worst part was the receptionist who couldn't stop insisting and asking us to upgrade the room and pay extra 25€

No parking on site but there is an overnight parking lot only one block away. Note, by the name you think it's for the cathedral only, but not true. Public, paid, overnight parking for around $15.
And there is an express grocery store around the corner.
Good location, and nice place.
