Rouen Cathedral is right next to it, very magnificent. It is convenient to every attraction, you can go to the morning market, the town hall, the Jeanne d'Arc Tower and the Memorial Hall, and the ancient clock.

Excellent location, within a few minutes of the city center. Breakfast is combined with Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles, therefore too busy to provide yourself with a good breakfast. So you often get it wrong. Room was well equipped with all amenities and on the road side you don't hear any traffic. This makes it a comfortable location.

Glad that I decided to book it on my return - relatively good location. Comfortable and modern. Relaxing stay at the hotel.

Despite the name, the structure is not exactly in the center. Above all, parking is subject to charges even for hotel users! The breakfast is not bad, average, but I notice the lack of fruit juices, which is actually incredible. The room is large and, at least mine, had the particularity of having the toilet in a special room, separate from the bathroom where there was instead a sink and shower

I must have mentioned it was my birthday within my reservation and the staff were so incredibly sweet about it. The room was so nice and I especially enjoyed the pool and the location.

A very comfortable, conveniently located hotel. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The black and red decor in the lobby is a bit strident and navigating the hallways and the elevators is a bit tricky. I think that they should try to make the public areas more welcoming. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is very convenient for the old town and is just minutes alj from the Gros Horloge. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very quiet and beautifully furnished. The spa is quite amazing for a hotel facility. The staff were all very charming and helpful. We had a most enjoyable 3 night stay.

I have stayed in a lot of Mercure hotels and this was the most disappointing. The room we had was tired. The curtains had holes in, there was chipped bits around the sockets in the bathroom and a socket had been removed meaning we had to pull the fridge out and un plug it each time we wanted to use the kettle. I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. The facilities are excellent, the location is great, and it's very convenient to get to by train. The hotel's front desk service is also exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the restaurant's dishes are very unique.

Right on the Sienne. Typical French service standards. Dated hotel and a little run down decor wise, however rooms were very clean and suitable for a 1 night stay.

Stayed at this hotel several times , disappointed this time at about 2am could hear what seamed a boiler or some kind of pump. As if we were next too or above the boiler room. Complained on departure and apologised and said would let maintenance know

The hotel was nice - super nice check in and the guy behind the counter was very helpful with advice and recommendations. The breakfast was nice too. Only minus was the parking under the hotel. As guests at the hotel the parking should be discounted or without charge when staying at the hotel.

Excellent breakfast! Lots of variety, everything was really good. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing was the parking. One could pay 11 euros a night for underground parking or find a spot on the street for free. Street parking was a bit of a challenge however we did find a spot.

Area was quiet with the metro nearby to take you to the heart of the city. Property was nice, clean and breakfast was good. Affordable underground secure parking. Great stay but there is little in the neighborhood to walk to for dining.

Due to allergies, the carpet in the room gave us a hard time during our night. But the manager is exceptional and super kind. She has passion for her job.

Internet non-existant at times and annoying having to log on all the time. Woman said there were too many people staying for the internet to work well!

The loo would not stop filling, we had to use the manual over ride. The hot water took ages to reach the room. Because of this other guests had clearly got frustrated with the shower control, and had turned it so often it did not work. Result is a very hot shower. Wonderful hotel! Fantastic staff!! Bruce, Louise and Collette were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. We were close to sites and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend the Hotel Literaire Gustave Flaubert.

The staff is is helpful, generous and kind. Dinner suggestions given. The young lady in the breakfast room so very helpful. Rooms, clean, small, but easy to navigate. The most interesting experience, a car elevator. We will return.

The hotel is located in front of the station, which is very convenient. We had a lot of luggage, but they assigned us a room with few steps, which was helpful. The reception staff were very helpful, even opening our wine bottles for us.

Best Western is a reliable chain hotel. Located next to Rouen Rail Station makes it a must to stay and it is central, walking distance to downtown. Highly recommended.

Booked this hotel because of the convenience. It’s right in the middle of everything in a very walkable city. The hotel is right next to the train station. It houses a historique elevator dating from 1912. The room we stayed in was a suite and it was perfect. It even had a bathtub with lights and jets. Would definitely stay here again.

Very central and budget friendly hotel but my room was not clean and there was no air conditioning only ventilator. There was a heavy smell in the room due to being closed for a long time. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was good.

The elevator was broken. It was hard to carry the luggage upstairs. The breakfast was simple, with bread, meat, eggs, milk, freshly squeezed orange juice, and fruit. It was basically European style, with hot tea and coffee.

This is a conveniently located hotel to explore the historic centre of Rouen. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is your typical hotel fare. My room was spacious, comfortable and clean, as was the bathroom. The only concern is that there are no lifts which means that you have to be able to cope with climbing stairs. I would stay there again.

I believe it was the smallest room I have ever had, our suitcases had to be placed on the floor and we had to move the chair to allow the to fit on the floor, because they would not fit on the luggage rack. Fantastic centrally located hotel in the heart of Rouen. Note that (as advertised) there is no air conditioning in the room: a fan was provided which was all right during a cooler spell, but the room might get very hot during high summer. But an excellent place

The place was not what it seemed in pictures.

The staff were excellent. If you happen to be lucky, you might encounter someone who speaks Chinese. Some also speak English. The rooms were very clean. They will help you contact a taxi company if you need one, and they will also help you find a Chinese-speaking driver if you require one.

Great hotel in a lovely city We booked the largest room 501. Complete with wrapping balcony and a terrace, this room was chic, fun and with good views. Hotel location was fantastic, just a block off the midway point of Rick Steve’s asking tour. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rouen is definitely worth a couple days. See the Beaux Arts museum.

Great balcony corner views from our Room #10. The Christmas market had started the day we arrived and it snowed that night (in late November). Complete with the imposing sight of the Notre Dame Cathedral, it was a near perfect stay in Rouen.

We went in August, without A/C it was tough to sleep.

The property is in an excellent position in central Rouen. It is a budget option with the rooms, particularly the bathrooms, showing their age. However the linens were clean and the bathroom was very clean and shower worked well. The breakfast buffet was very good. Downside was the lack of aircon in a 30c heat. Staff lovely.
