Rouen, 14 Quai Gaston Boulet (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Right on the Sienne. Typical French service standards. Dated hotel and a little run down decor wise, however rooms were very clean and suitable for a 1 night stay.
worn out room, the wardrobe is almost falling apart, eighties styling, but the bed was decent. Airco also works fine. Basic but clean, very friendly staff saves this Hotel
I really like this hotel. Good location and secure parking. Short walk to nice bars and restaurants. The hotel was very clean. The bed was really comfy and the room and bathroom were well equipped. The breakfast was tasty and the buffet was well stocked with everything needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms are a little past their sell by dates, however for the price and location ok. Secure parking included.
Well placed for city sightseeing. Secure underground parking. Clean fresh entrance lobby. Friendly desk staff. Room a bit on the small side even for our usual budget hotels. Got all you need. Kettle and tea/coffee in room. Shower over bath. Bed linen fresh and clean. Quiet.
Thanks to all the staff and the manager. Excellent last-minute organization! A royal thank you again.

We were there only for a night. But the man and the lady at receptionist were so friendly and helpful (forgotten to ask for name)
The Mercure Rouen Hotel is located in the city center, within walking distance of all attractions and food streets. The hotel itself is a typical older European hotel; the facilities and cleanliness are fairly basic, not quite what you'd expect from a four-star hotel. But these are secondary issues. The biggest problem is that most people come here by car, and parking is expensive (19 euros even in...
It's in the old town, very convenient, with parking nearby, but the air conditioning is too hot
Facilities: Brand hotel, well maintained, room size is also OK Sanitation: Clean and tidy Environment: In the old town of Rouen, you need a password to enter by car. You can email the hotel one day in advance to get it. You must go to the machine at the entrance where the GPS positioning is provided by the hotel for the password to be valid Service: Very enthusiastic, English is also available, and...
Super central location. Very close to everything. Very good service. Excellent breakfast!
Rouen Cathedral is right next to it, very magnificent. It is convenient to every attraction, you can go to the morning market, the town hall, the Jeanne d'Arc Tower and the Memorial Hall, and the ancient clock.

Good overnight stop a little bit out of town but easy to get on the road to head back to ferry - bar was limited and ran out of many drinks sadly
Excellent location, within a few minutes of the city center. Breakfast is combined with Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles, therefore too busy to provide yourself with a good breakfast. So you often get it wrong. Room was well equipped with all amenities and on the road side you don't hear any traffic. This makes it a comfortable location.
Glad that I decided to book it on my return - relatively good location. Comfortable and modern. Relaxing stay at the hotel.
The price/performance ratio is relatively high, but you have to pay for the parking lot yourself
Despite the name, the structure is not exactly in the center. Above all, parking is subject to charges even for hotel users! The breakfast is not bad, average, but I notice the lack of fruit juices, which is actually incredible. The room is large and, at least mine, had the particularity of having the toilet in a special room, separate from the bathroom where there was instead a sink and shower
parking comfy beds good size rooms 👌🏼

The hotel building and lobby are beautiful. The location is perfect . The layout of the hotel is somewhat confusing until one figures it out. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean but it felt needing renovation. Windows were not cleaned for a long time and I was afraid to open them. Crakes in the bathroom floor. The room was spacious but the bathroom and the toilet occupy...
Historic Building Converted to Hotel Described as a "Flamboyant Gothic House" built in the 16th century, now converted to a hotel right in the middle of the historic part of Rouen. Seemed as if rooms (particularly ours, room 110) were carved out of available space- not our typical business hotel room but quite enchanting. Beautiful public spaces and excellent cleanliness. Staff were extremely helpful...
A very comfortable, conveniently located hotel. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The black and red decor in the lobby is a bit strident and navigating the hallways and the elevators is a bit tricky. I think that they should try to make the public areas more welcoming. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay.
The hotel is very convenient for the old town and is just minutes alj from the Gros Horloge. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very quiet and beautifully furnished. The spa is quite amazing for a hotel facility. The staff were all very charming and helpful. We had a most enjoyable 3 night stay.
Breakfast is very good, highly recommended
The good: an amazing experience staying in your own castle. This is a historical building converted to a quaint hotel; including restaurant, swimming pool and spa. Very courteous staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Great location near restaurants, shopping and attractions. We received an upgrade to a junior suite as Marriott Platinum, which also included the breakfast buffet....

Location is great but Equiptments are old… gym Equiptment is down and not repaired…
I have stayed in a lot of Mercure hotels and this was the most disappointing. The room we had was tired. The curtains had holes in, there was chipped bits around the sockets in the bathroom and a socket had been removed meaning we had to pull the fridge out and un plug it each time we wanted to use the kettle. The reception staff were OK but not overly friendly, I am used to being greeted as I walk...
Nice location, clean hotel, friendly staff. The room was nice enough but very small. That in itself is not an issue, only having a double bed rather than a king-size was disappointing. I cant remember the last time a hotel didn't have a king size bed. The parking is very secure and not expensive. However in order to exit you have to go right to the bottom level and then go up again via very narrow...
We stayed here twice in 2 weeks (on way to and from Brittany) and it was great both times. The rooms, food and facilities are all fantastic but it's the staff that set it apart. On our way back, we'd had a 5 hour journey from near Brest and arrived at the hotel in rush hour, pretty tired and stressed. The hotel concierge on the desk seemed to understand immediately. He gently slowed things down by...
Nice clean comfortable room , very good size. The staff were very helpful. Good restaurant and bar. It's about a 15 min flat walk into the old centre which is wonderful. Underground parking is available. Would recommend.

Excellent breakfast! Lots of variety, everything was really good. Bed was very comfortable. Only thing was the parking. One could pay 11 euros a night for underground parking or find a spot on the street for free. Street parking was a bit of a challenge however we did find a spot.
Area was quiet with the metro nearby to take you to the heart of the city. Property was nice, clean and breakfast was good. Affordable underground secure parking. Great stay but there is little in the neighborhood to walk to for dining.
Due to allergies, the carpet in the room gave us a hard time during our night. But the manager is exceptional and super kind. She has passion for her job.
Internet non-existant at times and annoying having to log on all the time. Woman said there were too many people staying for the internet to work well!
Exceptional staff made my stay truly memorable. I had a wonderful experience at Holiday Inn Rouen Rive Gauche, thanks to the warmth, kindness, and professionalism of the team. Great location! Very cozy and clean rooms! Friendly and convenient check-in.
Perfect. Except the parking lot was full.
The loo would not stop filling, we had to use the manual over ride. The hot water took ages to reach the room. Because of this other guests had clearly got frustrated with the shower control, and had turned it so often it did not work. Result is a very hot shower. The room needs a new shower controller quickly before some one is scolded. Bed side reading light, bulb blown
Very good hotel! Receptionists are very nice!
Wonderful hotel! Fantastic staff!! Bruce, Louise and Collette were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. We were close to sites and delicious restaurants. I highly recommend the Hotel Literaire Gustave Flaubert.
The staff is is helpful, generous and kind. Dinner suggestions given. The young lady in the breakfast room so very helpful. Rooms, clean, small, but easy to navigate. The most interesting experience, a car elevator. We will return.

The hotel is located in front of the station, which is very convenient. We had a lot of luggage, but they assigned us a room with few steps, which was helpful. The reception staff were very helpful, even opening our wine bottles for us.
Excellent service and comfortable environment. Hotel is elegantly decorated. Near the Old Town and the train station.
Best Western is a reliable chain hotel. Located next to Rouen Rail Station makes it a must to stay and it is central, walking distance to downtown. Highly recommended.
Booked this hotel because of the convenience. It’s right in the middle of everything in a very walkable city. The hotel is right next to the train station. It houses a historique elevator dating from 1912. The room we stayed in was a suite and it was perfect. It even had a bathtub with lights and jets. Would definitely stay here again.
Very appreciated stay at the hostel. The location is great, allowing a smooth holiday in Rouen. The minuses would be the sound-insulation (could hear our room-neighbours) as well as the size of some rooms

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. The facilities are excellent, the location is great, and it's very convenient to get to by train. The hotel's front desk service is also exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the restaurant's dishes are very unique.
The location is excellent, and the separate shower and toilet in the room is a great feature. The bed is also very comfortable.
Excellent location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station. The breakfast is very generous.
I've stayed at this hotel several times. The location is excellent, the environment is nice, and the rooms are quite large for a European hotel. The breakfast is Western-style, and there are mostly Europeans and Americans staying here. It would be even better if there were a swimming pool.

The hotel was nice - super nice check in and the guy behind the counter was very helpful with advice and recommendations. The breakfast was nice too. Only minus was the parking under the hotel. As guests at the hotel the parking should be discounted or without charge when staying at the hotel.
Staff were very friendly and helpful both at the front desk and the dining room. Excellent breakfast buffet with quality produce. Good value for money and there is a nice lounge room for relaxing in.

Very helpful staff. Rooms are still good. Always try to get to this hotel. Restaurant ok..but disjointed service.. One girl doing most of the work, guys just aimless really.

We only stayed 1 night at Hotel Paulette as we were driving through Rouen as a part of our road trip. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance from the Notre Dame Rouen Cathedral, Le Gros Horloge and the site where Joan of Arc was burned. The hotel room was clean and had the necessary amenities such as free wifi, toiletries, hair dryer. While there is no cupboard,...
There were zero amenities. It was noisy outside. A very basic hotel. Location was good
The air conditioning did not work properly. I believe it was the smallest room I have ever had, our suitcases had to be placed on the floor and we had to move the chair to allow the to fit on the floor, because they would not fit on the luggage rack. We stayed 3 nights. The second day our bed was not even made up. The breakfast was good but extremely limited.

Fantastic centrally located hotel in the heart of Rouen. Note that (as advertised) there is no air conditioning in the room: a fan was provided which was all right during a cooler spell, but the room might get very hot during high summer. But an excellent place
The place was not what it seemed in pictures.
The staff were excellent. If you happen to be lucky, you might encounter someone who speaks Chinese. Some also speak English. The rooms were very clean. They will help you contact a taxi company if you need one, and they will also help you find a Chinese-speaking driver if you require one.

Walking to vibrant night life and attractions. Hard to find parking and entrance to building. Had to call and they explained how to access private parking. All was well after that.
Property was nice and quiet. Staff was kind and helpful. However, the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty and the water drain would clog, leading to water getting out of the shower and into the rest of the bathroom. Toilet could have been cleaner and fresher. Aside from that, everything else was fine.
Noisy, uncomfortable bed, stained carpet. Otherwise not too bad.
Easy to check in. Balcony had no chairs and sone fixtures needed maintenance. Generally a good stay worth the cost.
Excellent service but room needs fixing Badly stained carpet, bathroom door handle loose. Apart from that, good. It looks over the Seine but also a boulevard, so lots of cars (noisy).
