What a lovely guy! Picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night, brought me to the city centre the next day and was extremely patient while I was trying to fix problems with my bankcard. He even offered me a coke! Brought me to my next hostel afterwards, and all for a very reasonable price. Would recommend!!

Host canceled our reservation at 22.00, right before we got there. We only found out, because the taxi driver called him to find the location. We had to find a new place to stay in the middle of the night. I understand that sometimes things happen and a reservation might get canceled, but why not tell us beforehand?

The merab is a very nice hostel, and Tornicke, and family, are the best hosts. We had 3 bikes and he was extremely helpful transporting them from the airport and letting us set them up. You could not ask for a hosts, very friendly, relaxed and helpful.
