Where to stay in Mestia

Very kind hosts, clean and spacious place, all necessary equipment working, lovely view from the balcony. Kids friendly. Spent a happy week there

A comfortable place, but not luxurious. A slightly aging staircase and a somewhat crepting common kitchen. It is worse for those who choose a room without a kitchen because there is definitely a small one. But I think that it is quite high standard for Mestie. For lonely excursions, ideal for families, you have to be inconvenient.

Nice guesthouse in a good location. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. When I had an injury, they made sure I have everything I need. Stayed here for a month and would have stayed longer.

A nice and pacious living room and kitchen to hang out it in. Comfy beds, 2 friendly cats and a great location really close to one of the ski lifts and the centre of town.

Lovely place! A nice flat 5 min walk from the centre of town, sweet front yard that is full of grape vines and pink flowers - a couple of separate areas too like the outdoor seating near the rooms and under the gazebo. The room is very simple, but the kitchen is spacious, and the outdoor space is super relaxing and cute! There’s a mama cat and three kittens, which was so heartwarming! It’s only about a 5-minute walk to the city center, and the staff at the accommodation were very kind.

A beautiful hostel with a romantic atmosphere in the evenings and a friendly hostess. All the Georgian hospitality is embodied in this person.

Very warm atmosphere. A purely individual approach to guests. There is a big house with heating independent of electricity, which is a huge plus for Svaneti. In the same house there is a large dining room with a fireplace. All liked it!

Administrators are just space! Mountains are visible from the balcony, silence is all around. Cozy porch and kitchen.

Clean, good repair, home cooking, nearby attractions are available. Of the minuses - in the morning cows are shouting loudly, an unsightly courtyard.

We were hiking at the end of September. We didn’t have a booking but managed to get a room here. The room didn't have an outside window, but overall was okay. We insisted on having a heater, which kept us warm during the night, while other guests got cold. We stayed here for one night during a 3day hike. The host and her family were just lovely. The house itself is quite basic, as you would expect in the region. We paid 85GEL per person for accommodation, dinner and breakfast, all was really tasty and the portions were quite big. After dinner Larisas brother invited everyone to wine, chacha and 'musika' - a unique cultural experience!

Lovely place with a warm and welcoming family and very tasty food! We mainly enjoyed their soup and fried potatoes. Best food after an intense hike. The rooms were also very comfortable. And their son speaks good English :)

We just had a break here and got fantastic lobiani. The lady was very nice and we talked to some other hikers. Worth every penny.

Like other reviewers say, the lady who runs this place has a tendency to overcharge 😅 but other than that, she is kind and I was happy with the room and my stay.

This place has an amazing view from the terrace in front of the rooms. People are very nice, warm and talkative. Food was great, hot spicy potato and rice soup, fried potato, salad, and traditional fruits drink kompot, all delicious. Location was in the middle of Mestia, easy access to everything. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Rooms were comfortable, bathroom was modern but smelled a bit musty but nothing terrible. Would stay again if coming to Mestia.

A good three-star hotel on the outskirts, importantly, a 5-minute walk from the center. Excellent views from the window—we stayed in a corner room with a window and balcony—with views of both the towers and the glaciers. Excellent ventilation without opening the front door. I didn't see any basic service staff after checking in, and I didn't see anyone when I checked out. The location is okay, there is a small courtyard, the room is not particularly large, and the facilities can only be said to be average. It's average, but the view from the window is good.

Overall it's good, the location is near the town center, if you drive by yourself, you can just park somewhere nearby where you don't block other people. The only problem is that there is no air conditioning or fan, so it's hard to sleep at night.

Everything was great. The lady boss even drove us to the airport herself. She was so thoughtful. Their breakfast was quite rich.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great—close to the central bus station and surrounded by many restaurants. The owner provided warm hospitality, and the breakfast, made by the landlady herself, was especially lovely.
