Guest House Khalde in Mestia

We just had a break here and got fantastic lobiani. The lady was very nice and we talked to some other hikers. Worth every penny.

Like other reviewers say, the lady who runs this place has a tendency to overcharge 😅 but other than that, she is kind and I was happy with the room and my stay.

This place has an amazing view from the terrace in front of the rooms. People are very nice, warm and talkative. Food was great, hot spicy potato and rice soup, fried potato, salad, and traditional fruits drink kompot, all delicious. For breakfast we had boiled eggs, cheese, vegetables and bread, we took it as a lunch box as we left early. We stayed there in october, it was very cold outside, and the room had no heater, it was cold when you get up, but while sleeping is ok. There was a bit of smoke in the room from the wood heater downstairs, our clothes got the smell for long. Walls are very thin, you hear everything from the room next to you. The toilets are good and clean, but the shower was warm, not hot. Wifi is very good, the router is just outside the room, but due to the area internet is very weak, most of the time there was no connection, same as our phones. We paid 60 lari per person including breakfast and dinner, it is a reasonable price for the area, and we got more than the places we stayed before. Overall it is a very good place during the summer.

Great place with best bathroom in the georgia. Would recommend.
