We were hiking at the end of September. We didn’t have a booking but managed to get a room here. The room didn't have an outside window, but overall was okay.
We insisted on having a heater, which kept us warm during the night, while other guests got cold.
The guest house has a nice atmosphere, and there is heating in one of the bathrooms, so you can enjoy a warm shower. Despite a previous review, we didn’t encounter any bedbugs.
For dinner, we had vegetable soup with rice, khachapuri, rice with vegetables, and really nice tea. The host offered us more soup. For breakfast, we were served one boiled egg, pasta, rice, bread with jam, and a very small amount of butter, but you can ask for more.
Overall, this place is okay for spending the night, but it doesn’t feel very warm or welcoming, and it’s a bit pricier compared to the other guest houses we stayed at

The bed was full of bed bugs. We had a terrible night , they attacked us and now we’re itching all over… On top of that, the owners didn’t really make much of an effort to help us. It was also the most expensive place on the hike, which made it feel like a bit of a rip off, especially since our room didn’t even have a window.

We stayed here for one night during a 3day hike. The host and her family were just lovely. The house itself is quite basic, as you would expect in the region. We paid 85GEL per person for accommodation, dinner and breakfast, all was really tasty and the portions were quite big.

Comparing with the other 5 guesthouses that we stayed at:
60GEL is a relatively reasonable price for this accommodation.
HOWEVER 60GEL (per person) for the dinner and breakfast that was prepared was NOT reasonable.
You're left with no real alternative option in the village, and you have to settle for expensive and lousy food by this guesthouse.
Example: Breakfast consisted of plain pasta, stale bread, 1 pancake, and sweet white rice. No bueno.

Lovely place with a warm and welcoming family and very tasty food! We mainly enjoyed their soup and fried potatoes. Best food after an intense hike. The rooms were also very comfortable. And their son speaks good English :)

We just had a break here and got fantastic lobiani. The lady was very nice and we talked to some other hikers. Worth every penny.

The rooms are very small, if you are more then 1.75m long the bed is small for you.
No heating, it was so cold we had to go into our beds to get warm,
The hostess was very cheap, we paid for dinner which had no meat, we paid for breakfast which was very small and when asking for more eggs ( we got only one each ) she said she has no more eggs,
Worst experience in our trek.

Like other reviewers say, the lady who runs this place has a tendency to overcharge 😅 but other than that, she is kind and I was happy with the room and my stay.

This place has an amazing view from the terrace in front of the rooms. People are very nice, warm and talkative. Food was great, hot spicy potato and rice soup, fried potato, salad, and traditional fruits drink kompot, all delicious. For breakfast we had boiled eggs, cheese, vegetables and bread, we took it as a lunch box as we left early. We stayed there in october, it was very cold outside, and the room had no heater, it was cold when you get up, but while sleeping is ok. There was a bit of smoke in the room from the wood heater downstairs, our clothes got the smell for long. Walls are very thin, you hear everything from the room next to you. The toilets are good and clean, but the shower was warm, not hot. Wifi is very good, the router is just outside the room, but due to the area internet is very weak, most of the time there was no connection, same as our phones. We paid 60 lari per person including breakfast and dinner, it is a reasonable price for the area, and we got more than the places we stayed before. Overall it is a very good place during the summer.
