Guest House Tsiskari in Tmogvi

Great place to visit with family. Very friendly and hospitable host and his family. Fresh air and calm atmosphere.

Very nice guesthouse: warm and super friendly hosts, great bed, clean bathroom. This family has a lovely garden and they produce all their food themselves. We highly recommend this guest house!

We travelled through Georgia for 5 weeks and this was (along with one in Lagodekhi) the best guesthouse for many reasons.

Its run by a lady, her son and her daughter in law. The house is clean and comfortable. Amazing home cooked, organic dinner and breakfast (we stayed for 3 nights because we loved the guesthouse and food so much).

You basically live in the house together with the family.

Its located at the end of a beautiful rural village in between the mountains and close to Vardzia. It's an easy 2 hour hike from their guesthouse to the cave village.
Also hot springs nearby to bath in.

They own cows, chicken and fish and make their own cheese, wine and chacha.

The house is situated in a beautiful garden full of flowers and there is a comfortable balcony to overlook the garden.

Good wifi connection.

Quaint guest house, adorable colorful gardens and patio. Wonderful host, fresh vegetables and home made Georgian meals. Not far off the main road. Well suited for those seeking authentic experience in the village and quiet.

Most hospitable host ever. Very kind and anticipating. Absolutely did not expect such a great guest house at this location. It takes a hilly dirt road to get there, but it's worth it. Room was tidy and beds were the only good ones we have seen (passed 3 other guest houses in the village before we came here).
Dinner was served within 1,5 hour after arrival with no booking. Most foods come from their own garden, even the trout!
Totally recommend this place as overnight stay for a visit to Vardzia!
