Guest House Tirebi in Tmogvi

The first impression was quite bad, we thought it's abandoned or unfinished house, but inside was good. The host was kind and told us a lot of interesting stuff about Georgian history and took us to the excursion. His wife made us dinner and breakfast, it was very delicious! Around there are many hiking places and cave town Vardzia. Unfortunately in the nearby Tmogvi village there is nothing, not even a simple grocery shop. All in all, I liked this place.

I have visited this place few months ago. Tirebi has the masterclasses service and very delicious cuisine apart from the guesthouse. The food is very tasty. You can experience national cuisine characterised to this region of Georgia (Meskhetian Kada, Khachapuri, Apokhtis Khinkali, etc.) and also take place in masterclasses. Hosts are friendly and nice. They have horse riding service too.

Amazing place to chill, Relax after long travel, Taste Meskhetian HouseCooked food by Hostess and even more you can get some Masterclasses too. If you are extreme lover, this place has much more to offer you, next to horse riding. So it was perfect!

The family are extremely friendly and very helpfull. They offered rides to Tmogvi Castle and Vardzia, showed good sulphur baths and places to swim in the nearby lake Tsunda.
Food is good and rooms too!

BTW, someone should please adopt the beautiful, friendly, white street-dog Luna that frequently visits the guest house. My family and I agrees that it would be worth returning to Tirebi Guest House to see Luna again.

Wonderful host family owns this guest house road side on the way to Vardzia in Tbmovi. They prepare dinner and breakfast all local foods (bread, eggs, pickled vegetables, chicken, fish, stews, katchapuri, wine, cheese, etc.) The shared dining area is large, ample space for showing movies and listening to music or crafts. Great place for family or groups of 20. Picnic tables and hammock are set up to view the lovely lake as the sun sets or rises. Only noise are the cows mooing and frogs and crickets with the exception of a passing car. I would defnitelly return to this rustic gem. If you like close to Vardzia and auhtentic Georgian guest house this is the place for you. Note, electric and water was not consistent, but not a big deal really during warm weather.
