This year our annual roadtrip took us to Reit Im Winkl. Drawn by its famous “Dark Sky” area just 15 min drive from the village, we booked 3 nights. Without any possibility of a refund. And honestly: If we had the option to cancel without losing any money, we would have done so, as the weather forecast soared and the prognosis of rain became more and more certain. We have traveled extensively in Europe and have found this place and area to be one of the best. The room avd veranda have everything you might want or need. The connected restaurant was cozy and exquisite food. The value and quality are not to be missed!,,,

One of the best restaurants that I have visited. The service is impeccable, the interior is amazing and cozy, the music was great (mostly calming jazz and swing). The food was delicious. Beautifully served, great and novel combination of quality ingredients and big portions on top of everything.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town. We stayed in one of the apartments, which was simple but very comfortable. The staff was incredibly accommodating and made sure we felt at home. A wonderful continental breakfast topped it all off.

Gorgeous cozy hotel with surprisingly large rooms. Visited during Feb 2018 and the place was beautiful and warm against the snowy exterior. Great restaurant on site too.

Clean although sparce furnishings, perhaps typical for alipine family hotels. No elevator. Staff is family who likely live their. No hotel reception at night; this is problematic for late evening arrivals. Private parking is a plus. Breakfast included, which is becoming less common in Germany. Located At base of steep pastures for hiking. Town streets unnavigational without GPS guidance.

It was really delicious breakfast! Room is spacious but sofa-bed is very squeaky, I could hear kids' every move:) Limited number of parking spots.

Check in was strange. We had our name and room keys waiting for us on the staffless front desk. We did not arrive late, maybe 5pm. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very good hotel, clean and comfortable room. We were happy that the staff prepared the Saturday breakfast as a picnic due to our early morning trip. The only problem = Smelling of the room used by smokers.

Wow wow wow. What a beautiful place. We stayed here mid November and had the most beautiful experience. The room was just divine with the best view - we enjoyed the sunset from our balcony looking out into the Alps. The room was spacious and luxurious with excellent attention to detail. Amazing Alpine hotel. Fab room - 109. Lots of space. So much seating. Double sink. Lovely touches like a chocolate left at your bedside. Good shower. Reasonably priced bar in room. I promised the lady at the counter to give a positive review. This was a great hotel to end our summer holidays. A great modern yet traditional room with very nice view, all very clean and convenient, impressive breakfast and superb diner. All people where kind and professsional and made us feel valued guests all the time. We enjoyed the great spa and of course the nice surroundings.

Superb hotel. Very comfortable room. Food was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful - especially as we had forgotten most of our German, and they apparently don’t get many English guests. A great base for some wonderful walks.

I really enjoyed the stay. This is a 4 star hotel how it should be. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice and case something is missing the staff is there to help.
