I promised the lady at the counter to give a positive review. This was a great hotel to end our summer holidays. A great modern yet traditional room with very nice view, all very clean and convenient, impressive breakfast and superb diner. All people where kind and professsional and made us feel valued guests all the time. We enjoyed the great spa and of course the nice surroundings.

This is specific to the restaurant. We stopped by twice for lunch during our time in Reit. First, the service ins excellent. Small wine list all very inexpensive. Lunch servings were massive. A complete bargain for the price and quality. The interior is as can be seen in the website. Very comfortable with super service and excellent German food.

Very friendly and polite Staff. The brealkfast buffet hat everything you could wish for and had everyday something new to offer. It was great. The swimming pool was also very nice. At first I thought oh a little old fashion, but not it was very clean and nice and offered different Gymnastic classes.

We were there over New Year's Eve, everything was great, the children (9 and 6) were in ski school right across the street (100m). There's a ping-pong table and a small playroom in the basement.

We rented several apartments for our family and friends and had a wonderful time there. The apartments are spacious and well-equipped, and our four grandchildren had everything they needed. Mr. Mayer is very friendly and easy to deal with. We would gladly come back.

We stayed here two years ago and had the apartment for six people on the first floor. It was relatively spacious, with a living room, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with two sinks. Professional, warm, welcoming staff. Clean rooms and facilities. The breakfasts are lovingly prepared and there is something for everyone. Sauna is totally relaxing to come back to after a day of hiking, spectacular view of the sunset on the mountains. I recommend wholeheartedly.

This was our third stay at Marchlhof, and we can wholeheartedly recommend a holiday there! The apartments are spacious and superbly equipped, the lovingly landscaped farm offers countless opportunities for children, and Ina and Martin are such warm and welcoming hosts! We spent a week at Ina and Martin's farm this summer. They've renovated the holiday apartments so beautifully and with so much attention to detail. The perfect total package! We spent 1 week in the "Buchbichl" holiday apartment with 4 adults and 2 children, and it was really great. The apartment is very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. There is also a large balcony with sun loungers and a large table, which can certainly be used in the summer. The Marchlhof and its owners Ina and Martin live hospitality and animal welfare in a way that is rarely experienced. They don't give you a chance not to feel comfortable, so it was difficult for us to leave our great apartment and farm for excursions. Everything just fits together and we didn't miss anything. We will definitely come back no matter what time of year!

The location and views are exceptional but the staff was absolutely amazing! We have been in Germany (from the USA) for two weeks and 7 different hotels and this was, by far, the best stay.

Short walk or taxi from hotel to the ferry landing that takes you around Lake Chiemsee, that allows for a quieter, more relaxing lake experience. Included breakfast buffet was in a beautiful setting. excellent jump off point to the lake. if anything walk to the train station is a bit far if you carry a heavy backpack like me.

The room was really nice - but the room Was very cold and no one could help us turn on the heat. They finally brought us an extra blanket and we hung the provided bathrobes on the towel heater to warm up. However - the complimentary breakfast was one of the best I’ve had.

We got the last room on 16 July & it was a suite with a great balcony! The dinner at the restaurant was superb as was breakfast! Super friendly and would love to go back to explore more & enjoy the Spa. Amazing!

The room is old, the breakfast is OK, quite rich. The weather was bad, so I didn't have time to go to the lake. I can only come back next time when the weather is good... The price-performance ratio is OK.

Dream location, friendly staff. We checked in around 9 PM, very good communication. The room was clean, spacious, and had a terrace, complementary 2 bottles of water. Parking cost €5/night extra. Exceptional breakfast with a wide variety of food. The hotel bar is open until 1:00 AM for drinks.
