We felt very comfortable and well looked after. The rooms have a more classic decor, the bathrooms have been modernly renovated, and everything is very clean and comfortable. We would gladly return.
The hotel is quiet, clean, serves a delicious and substantial breakfast and the price is competitive, or even lower, than the other hotels in their category. It's a two star hotel, but I'd match it with any 3-star hotel anywhere!
The Hotel Mietz is run by two owners, who between them speak French, Dutch, French, and English, in addition to German. One of the owners is always on call and often sitting in the hotel's beautiful garden (where I'm writing this review!) The goal of the owners is to make all their visitors feel welcome,and comfortable, and they succeed spectacularly! It's for that reason that so many guests come back year after year...me being one of them!
