Burg-Cafe in Alken is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are clean and beautifully renovated, the staff is friendly, and dogs are welcome. The cafe offers drinks and food but is kinda pricey. The outdoor seating area is lovely. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Alken.

The location was really lovely, right by the river and close to Burg Thurant castle. We enjoyed a two-day stay there. They have a sweet pet named "Vodka," a calm and friendly dog, and we loved spending time with her during the breakfast buffet. For the two of us, it cost €37.80. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Staff was very friendly and hotel was nice. We were pleased about the location - we landed in Frankfurt and wanted to see Burg Eltz castle. The hotel is right by the water and has some nice restaurants within walking distance (traditional German cuisine and Döner!). The room was clean and met our needs for the night. Breakfast buffet was very good. We were pleased with our stay.
