We have stayed here for 1 week. Rooms are cleaned daily. This hotel has for sure the nicest view in Mainz, and only a few minutes from the city center. Just be aware that the rooms with view to the Rhein-river obviously have different categories, hence prices, to avoid being disappointed.

Very nice location - it is easy to reach the sights of Mainz and also to have a stroll along the river. During my stay there was some construction, that was not very pleasant. We loved everything about this hotel. The location and view couldn’t have been better. The bed was comfortable. The shower head is on the ceiling which my husband loved. Fortunately, they gave us a shower cap so it worked for me too.

No air conditioning can make some rooms unbearably uncomfortable. The location however makes this hotel amazing, especially since it is next long the water.

Beautiful 4 stars big Park Hotel. The hotel is not far from city center. You can enjoy the private beautiful park which connected with the public bicycles and walk path ways along the Ahr. You will get beautiful sceneries with big beautiful winery gardens at the side of Ahr. The clean air at the park can give you new spirits and energy during staying at the hotel.

The location was great, but the hotel is quite outdated and in need of renovation.

Great place to stay for a day, surrounded by nature. The city is a bit far away, but you know. We had no hot water all morning, so we were there overnight and couldn't shower. Unfortunately, we told reception, but they can't arrange this. A bit strange. The interior is a bit dated and could really use an update.

The hotel is on the top of the mountain and is relatively old. Breakfast is average and there are no commercial facilities around. Suitable for overnight stays.

Good value for money. We stayed in a family room with separate compartments for children. There is a shopping mall opposite, which is perfect for simple shopping. The loviest, coziest, and the most charming hotel I ever stayed at. In this age of corporate hospitality, CONTEL stands out as a home away from home. With a beer garden, cute underground parking, and lots of beautiful art, it makes you feel like you are at your own home. Rooms are so beautifully decorated. It also have a lovely restaurant offering yummy food.

A good hotel, quiet, the Mosel River is nearby, you can walk along the path along the bank in the evening. A good restaurant, excellent German beer. The rooms are modest but cozy. The service is not intrusive. Everything is strictly German.

Overall it's not bad, but the level of cleanliness leaves much to be desired: during our three weeks of stay the floor was not washed even once.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were extremely kind and polite. The price was excellent. Great access to bus, tram, bikes, and scooters. Close to the industrial area, which makes it perfect for business trips. Breakfast quality and variety were also good. I just don’t understand why hotels don’t provide slippers. Also, my room didn’t have a fridge.

The room facilities are too simple, the mattress is too soft and my waist is very tired when sleeping, the carpet is very dirty, the hotel interior is very simple, not suitable for travel and living for more than 2-3 days; the front desk staff is cold and unenthusiastic, it is five bus stops away from the train station and a 6-minute walk from the supermarket.

We have danced at many weddings and can say that you will find the perfect wedding venue here. Professional service coupled with excellent room separation and the ability to go straight to bed after the party is simply wonderful. Hotel was nice to lay our heads in. Room was outdated but did the trick! Front desk reception was friendly as was breakfast service. The city right outside our windows had music going all night long, it was very hard to fall asleep. I think there was a night club or casino right next door. I so much love this hotel for many reasons, the staff are the best, it is located 2 minutes away from the Neustadt train station and bus station. Great location and very nice staff. There is also kids club and the entertainers were amazing. There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and sightseeing. Mosel is also close by. We were stuck in a bad situation with a broken car on a national holiday, where we had to wait for someone to pick us up from multiple hours away. The hotel allowed us to rest in our room during the day free of charge, many hours over the usual check out time, for us to be comfortable with our baby while waiting. An extremely nice gesture! Good Value Hotel Good value for money. Convenient with shopping mall nearby, lots of eateries and cafes. Easy transportation too. Parking was at nearby public parking at a discounted rate.

Room temperature was just fine, parking is a slight hassle because the parking garage is situated 100m away by foot, thus, luggage handling is less convenient. Hotel staff are friendly. Breakfast choices are meager but doable.

I love this place! The rooms are outdated and need modernising but they are clean and good enough for the price. The area is the star, a beautiful part of the world with the Mighty Rhine the star of the show. Also the pool and sauna are lovely. The decor of the room was archaic. The bed was like a large raised plank with two separate mattresses. The chairs were shabby. Overall not very impressive. Hotel is being renovated, which is a good idea. Staff was friendly and rooms adequately equipped. However, pillows were uncomfortable and the room had a door to connect to the room beside it, which caused a veritable noise issue. Such rooms cannot be recommended from my view, unless you wish to share your life with the person next door

A super - nice, new hotel, where we enjoyed our stay in kl! The only drawback is that there was no cleaning and the bed is a little narrow, but apart from that the hotel is super beautiful and i also liked how clean, organized the hall area is! Breakfasts were great too! :)

All good aside from the shower drain being clogged and flooding part of the room. I had to clear up hair from the last 100 guests to fix the problem. Dried out the room with the towels.
