Büsum is a great fishing village. It has some great restaurants, summer apartments and a cool Hotel named Friesenhof. It’s about an hour drive from Hamburg. The location is at the Nordic sea side and provides a beautiful view from the balcony. The hotel is not only known for the great food but also for its hospitality. It does not matter if you’re traveling for business, with kids, having a family reunion or just a vacation with your dog, you’ll be here in the right spot! Walking along the kays, jogging, swimming in the indoor pool, exercising at the own gym, all on the same spot! Great and friendly team it simplifies your daily tasks and reads your wishes before you even mention them. Looking forward to the next adventure!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel where I spent Christmas. Top service and good food and a place I will guarantee is perfect for all sessions. Plus the little town nearby and the waterfront are gorgeous places to visit.

It was our first time on the North Sea. We were curious to watch the tides, especially the low tide and the Wattenmeer.
The hotel was as expected. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. There is a SPA area with sauna and pool that you can use free if charge. Parking and WiFi are free as well. For our party of four I paid €168 per room per night (high season!) which includes breakfast, which was very good.
The sea is literally 2 steps away.
"German" beachchairs (Strandkörbe) are available for rent at €7 per day. They protect you from the wind.

We were here on the occasion of a confirmation. The Buffet and ordered coffee and cake.
The Service was great. The Team as a whole. Nice, very courteous, attentive and fast.
The food Bank way incredibly. Everything to the point. Fresh fish can only be if he's still alive.

A very luxurious hotel with nice workers. I think the rooms are all the same, and they all got the nicest view over the ocean. However, the minibar is quite expensive so bring your own snacks. The buffet at the hotel was great and not too expensive, so is the wine and beer served there. About the wifi: There are 1 router for every 2 rooms with about 2mb download/1mb upload speed, which is ok. Overall 5 stars for a 4 stars hotel, definetely recommended!
