Great hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel is still owner-managed and you can tell. I was completely satisfied. I will gladly come again.

The staff was friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good and rich! The bathroom was unfortunately too small and quite narrow ☹️. Due to the not so strong lighting in the bathroom, it was dark inside! The rooms could be made better!

We were in Dortmund for a wedding and stayed here for one evening. Upon arrival the host was very friendly. He could communicate in English and told us everything we might need to know. Great place for short stay, welcoming staff. Rooms bit small and restroom is shared outside of your room. Great price compared to benefits.

Just had a wonderful 4 night stay at Hotel Daun. Very comfortable rooms, wonderful food and terrific staff.

Perfect location. Exactly opposite to Bahnhof. Eateries possibilities nearby.. Friendly staff. Surprisingly bigger and clean room.

The parking supposed to be in the hotel, according to the information on booking.com, you book your room with a parking space, but you can't park there because you can't 🤔

Nice City Hotel Nice location, great breakfast, and a comfy room. Very clean except some dark corners in the shower stall, and the bed linens were so clean that their smell of detergent was a bit overpowering. The room was a bit dark, with no light by the bed - but I grabbed a floor lamp from the hallway that solved the issue.

We booked this hotel last minute on the way to Poland. We only paid £40 a night and were pleasantly surprised with the standard of the hotel. Room was fairly clean, the bedding and towels were nice and fresh.Polite and friendly stuff. Very close to the transit motorway,so if you looking for a break in your journey this is the place. Highly recommend!

We’ve booked this hotel last minute on the way to UK just to sleep overnight and were very nicely surprised. Generously sized and clean room, friendly hotel staff and amazing breakfast! Definitely recommend.

I had a good stay at this hotel. Rooms were a little dated but suited the building. Boasts sky tv but have very little channels. Breakfast buffet was a winner. Cold items were kept in fridges. Weirdly enough this is not the same for other German hotels that I have stayed in. Had a good nights sleep.

Very nice people at the reception, a very clean room, a great bed, you can sleep so well. Beautiful bathroom with a tub and very, very clean. A bit noisy, from the street and the people in the hotel, but quite OK for the price and the location for one night.

The beds were perfectly fine for the price. The rooms were also very noisy, so you could hear a lot from other hotel guests. Since we had two single rooms, the style was very different. These rooms were located one below the other. We showered in the upstairs bathroom, and water leaked through the ceiling into the other bathroom. ```

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s a lovely hotel. Each and every staff is helpful felt like home. The only disadvantage is that it’s far from the central station. While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that...

The maximum check-in time is 10pm and no one is allowed after that time… so if there is a train delay and we arrive after 10pm, it’s impossible, luckily I arrived at 9:45pm.

I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...

I think this is actually okay for what you pay but couple of things to note: rooms have a stone floor which is pretty cold without shoes. Breakfast is simple, not bad, just simple. Location is good. The bed was bad, matras was to worn for confort. The check in system could work if set up propperly, my room key dit not work, getting assistance was hard, finaly bij phone my room key was activated.

Great, convenient and cheap Easy to find. Right next to a station in order to get the subway to Signal Iduna Park. Christmas market literally 30 seconds away and a lush kebab place next door.

No face to face check-in. There is a machine at the door - you enter your surname and the main door and room key is dispensed. It’s about ten minutes walk from the Hbf - very comfy little room w.TV, shower, toilet - ideal for a quick overnight stay.
