The room was generally clean, the breakfast was very good, the location was excellent, and I would definitely come back next time. The price was also quite reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is in a very good location. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the downtown pedestrian street for shopping and dining. The waiter is very nice and the breakfast selection is moderate. The only biggest problem is that the room lacks an electric kettle. Although the room is small, it is very clean and well-equipped, especially the bathroom.

The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is located near the main fire station and is very convenient to the city center. There is also a very authentic Italian pizza restaurant opposite the hotel. If you stay, you can try it.

Very nice hotel - clean, comfortable, and peachful.

Had good stay, easy to find hotel and park the car, designated spaces were all taken, however receptionist kindly gave me permit to display in window for the neighbouring bay. Dortmund Mercure is a typical business hotel with minimum frills. It’s more appropriate for solo travelers but the bed and room can be comfortable for couples. In the city center, it is convenient for eating and shopping, but it is inconvenient for parking. They don't have their own parking lot. The room doesn't have a good view, but the room is very clean and the service staff are very warm and friendly.

Close to the main station about 7 minutes walk. Secure at night and sometimes offer late check outs when it’s not too busy for those with very late flights which is one of the main reasons why I keep going back. A bit out dated on the decor but it’s ok for the price.

Hi, the hotel is great! Very comfortable beds and the service is excellent. We arrived at 12:30 and our room was already ready :) The man at reception is super nice and helpful. 5 minutes from the main train station and 10 minutes to the city center – a great location! We'll definitely stay here again :)

Excellent hotel Every time we are going to Dortmund we book this hotel. It’s clean, staff friendly, breakfast delicious. Location perfect. Normally we check in online the day before which means at the hotel the check in takes only a minute. Everything just perfect.

It’s a nice simple good and clean Hotel. Good breakfast and nice rooms. It’s online check in and rooms are locked with code. Perfect. No bar but I didn’t need and better no bar than a bad one. Bed is perfect and bathroom is big enough. The rooms are bigger than many hotel rooms

Nice spot for a night or two. Stayed for euros. Nice room, amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom is only seperated by a sliding door which was weird for us. Super overpriced, however for non euro trips may be a good choice if it is economical. Close to metro, not near much else.

Rooms were quite small, no air conditioning or fans and so the windows had to remain open. The main street was very noisy and so found it difficult to sleep. The best hotel we have ever booked in Dortmund. The person who worked there was even able to speak Netherlands, polish and English and did very well in preparing the breakfast.

Room was sound, all we needed was a bed for the night and do the job. The throw on the bed was a bit dirty but other than that was spot on.

I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

We stop in this hotel on the way to UK and i have to tell you that... beds are very comfortable, hotel very quiet and Clean! While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. The maximum check-in time is 10pm and no one is allowed after that time… so if there is a train delay and we arrive after 10pm, it’s impossible, luckily I arrived at 9:45pm.

I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...
