We had a wonderful trip. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very kind and friendly! On the last day, I was very sick, and the receptionist gave me fresh lemon and mint to make this tea with honey. That really helped a lot. Ich bin Ihnen dafür sehr dankbar!

Very nice hotel - clean, comfortable, and peachful.

The room was nice, and the German breakfast was quite plentiful.

The room facilities are complete, the hotel location is beautiful, a good choice for business trips

Room was sound, all we needed was a bed for the night and do the job. The throw on the bed was a bit dirty but other than that was spot on.

Ideal for a short stay Great hotel for a short stay ……. Much better than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend for a few days. Hotel room was comfortable, had a small conservatory and had an excellent shower. The area around the hotel is quiet, but has a good train connection to Dortmund.

Very basic but clean and friendly.. unusual internal design with loafs of character. We only stayed one night but would have no hesitation staying again. Recommended

I stayed just on night, passing through from Spain. Liked the room (62, single room) with its organic shapes and round window in the bathroom. The shower head had lights in it that changes with water temperature (I think). I found everything very clean.

Good value for money hotel This hotel is great value for money and whilst certainly not 5 star, it’s more than adequate for our needs. Single room is big enough and bed comfortable enough (another pillow would be nice). The shower is in a wet room and is fantastic. Very friendly staff, this felt a really well managed hotel. Clean, tidy and organised. The breakfast was excellent, really good and better than many other Accor hotels. Quiet room, good value and I hope to return.

Dortmund Mercure is a typical business hotel with minimum frills. It’s more appropriate for solo travelers but the bed and room can be comfortable for couples. The breakfast is uninspiring but still worth it if you’re booking the room at a good price. Front staff are efficient and the location is close to the trains and the high street. In the city center, it is convenient for eating and shopping, but it is inconvenient for parking. They don't have their own parking lot. The room doesn't have a good view, but the room is very clean and the service staff are very warm and friendly.

Close to the main station about 7 minutes walk. Secure at night and sometimes offer late check outs when it’s not too busy for those with very late flights which is one of the main reasons why I keep going back. A bit out dated on the decor but it’s ok for the price.

It’s a nice simple good and clean Hotel. Good breakfast and nice rooms. It’s online check in and rooms are locked with code. Perfect. No bar but I didn’t need and better no bar than a bad one. Bed is perfect and bathroom is big enough. The rooms are bigger than many hotel rooms

Nice spot for a night or two. Stayed for euros. Nice room, amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom is only seperated by a sliding door which was weird for us. Super overpriced, however for non euro trips may be a good choice if it is economical. Close to metro, not near much else.

Reasonable. Receptionist looked miserable on arrival. No lifts in the property so obviously had to use the stairs. Rooms were quite small, no air conditioning or fans and so the windows had to remain open. The main street was very noisy and so found it difficult to sleep. The best hotel we have ever booked in Dortmund. The person who worked there was even able to speak Netherlands, polish and English and did very well in preparing the breakfast.

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel visiting from the U.K. Will always stay here when visiting Witten. Staff are excellent.

You will appreciate every single detail which you would normally not expect in a small Side walk hotel like this. It ticks most of the boxes like Radisson Blue would except having a mini bar, but the staff is extremely friendly and the breakfast fully equipped. It really was much better than expected. Cons: a bit far to the shopping street and weak WiFi in the room... but that's not even worth mentioning...

Dog friendly spacious room, very clean. Paid parking spot available in a garage near by. Sauna and swimming pool on site, very comfy and clean. Breakfast was rich and tasty. Staff was doing their best to make us satisfied. Thank you.

We stop in this hotel on the way to UK and i have to tell you that... beds are very comfortable, hotel very quiet and Clean! The raceprion lady was very very nice, we arrive at the hotel nearly 22 oclock and we was so hungry , we was travelling a long time ( menu was only in germany language that the only minus ) but she speak english really good so i ask her if they can make me a pasta with mushroom...

The hotel was clean and comfortable but the late night self check in was very slow.

Position of a hotel is very good, if one is comming with a car. I think that a rooms are small, withouth a desk, where one can put his laptop to work or to read (book, newspaper or something else). We stayed here for 4 nights and it’s a lovely hotel. Each and every staff is helpful felt like home. The only disadvantage is that it’s far from the central station. While checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that...

The maximum check-in time is 10pm and no one is allowed after that time… so if there is a train delay and we arrive after 10pm, it’s impossible, luckily I arrived at 9:45pm.

I have been a guest at this hotel for years and have always felt comfortable. Unfortunately, that has changed. The rooms are still OK, but some are pretty worn out. Breakfast is overpriced for the service! And the price shown when booking is not the final price, there is also 10% accommodation tax! You might as well include that! Parking costs money too, but half the parking lot is full of junk cars...
