The room was generally clean, the breakfast was very good, the location was excellent, and I would definitely come back next time. The price was also quite reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience.

The hotel is in a very good location. It takes only 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the downtown pedestrian street for shopping and dining. The waiter is very nice and the breakfast selection is moderate. The only biggest problem is that the room lacks an electric kettle. Although the room is small, it is very clean and well-equipped, especially the bathroom.

The room was very clean and tidy. The hotel is located near the main fire station and is very convenient to the city center. There is also a very authentic Italian pizza restaurant opposite the hotel. If you stay, you can try it.

The hotel is a ten-minute walk from Dortmund's main fire station, which is a perfect distance away from the hustle and bustle, but also convenient for transportation; the decoration is stylish, and there is a bar on the first floor; the staff is professional and reserved a quiet room for me, not facing the road, thank you! We had a wonderful trip. The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were very kind and friendly! On the last day, I was very sick, and the receptionist gave me fresh lemon and mint to make this tea with honey. That really helped a lot. Ich bin Ihnen dafür sehr dankbar!

The hotel was booked temporarily during the exhibition. It is close to the exhibition center and surrounded by residential areas, so it is very quiet. The room is a standard business style. The price during the exhibition is too expensive, it has increased many times.

Budget friendly hotel, room was nice. Aircon was loud and didn’t do an awful lot, Bathroom was the best. Bed very comfortable however the bedroom itself wasn’t exactly spacious! Be prepared, no wardrobe or draws of any kind just a rail for hangers. No safe either, bottle of water supplied but room was that disgustingly warm it was warm as there wasn’t a fridge. Well worth the stay if visiting...

We stayed 2 nights as part of a package to see Borussia Dortmund play. The hotel is well outside the city centre however it is conveniently located across the road from a light railway station that had a regular service to the city centre, taking approximately 15 minutes. Staff where friendly and helpful at check in and helped us to move room when we were booked into a double instead of a twin room...

The room is a bit small, but the location is good, right in the center of Dortmund, the surrounding environment is also very good, comfortable and quiet. The facilities are a bit old, but it is considered big in Ibis

Room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very accommodating as our floor had no hot water for our entire stay and they made a plan to get us a hot shower. The breakfast is not worth the additional cost.

Breakfast is still the same as it was a few years ago. The difference is that the homemade waffle machine is gone, but there is a bread machine, which is not bad. In addition, the sparkling water in the room is 3.5€.

The rooms smelled of smoke, even although the hotel is non-smoking. I asked for another room and unfortunately that one was bad too! On the positive side the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Since 2018 I've been staying in the Grey Hotel for over 50 nights in total but I don't find any reason to switch to another hotel. Located inside Wallring, 2 minute walk from Dortmund Hbf and staff is helpful. I'll keep using it when I have a business trip to Dortmund.

Hotel Neuhaus is somewhat basic in its furnishings but everything is thoughtfully planned and laid out. For example, there is a chair on the landing between floors. Dortmund Mercure is a typical business hotel with minimum frills. It’s more appropriate for solo travelers but the bed and room can be comfortable for couples. In the city center, it is convenient for eating and shopping, but it is inconvenient for parking. They don't have their own parking lot. The room doesn't have a good view, but the room is very clean and the service staff are very warm and friendly.

Close to the main station about 7 minutes walk. Secure at night and sometimes offer late check outs when it’s not too busy for those with very late flights which is one of the main reasons why I keep going back. A bit out dated on the decor but it’s ok for the price.

Nice spot for a night or two. Stayed for euros. Nice room, amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom is only seperated by a sliding door which was weird for us. Super overpriced, however for non euro trips may be a good choice if it is economical. Close to metro, not near much else.

Reasonable. Receptionist looked miserable on arrival. No lifts in the property so obviously had to use the stairs. Rooms were quite small, no air conditioning or fans and so the windows had to remain open. The main street was very noisy and so found it difficult to sleep. The best hotel we have ever booked in Dortmund. The person who worked there was even able to speak Netherlands, polish and English and did very well in preparing the breakfast.

Cozy little hotel at a convenient location close to public transport. The rooms are well sized and well equipped. Breakfast is good and the staff is very friendly and eager to help out anytime. Perfect location for Messe Halle, only a 10min walk. Our room was ok, very simple and clean. Breakfast was good. Multiple restaurants near by, our favorite was Mongo's and a sushi place about a 8min walk away. Very expesive rate per night during the Jagd&Hund Messe, double the usual rate!! And for the room we got absolutely OVERPRICED.. There is a TV but not many good channels available, a lot of them...

All correct. Great service, rooms, restaurant, forest setting. Even for a weekend trip or overnight business travel highly recommended!

The rooms are simple but with a home like feel, good matrasses which is often a problem for me with my back, the breakfast felt classic German, simple but good. The only down side for us is the fact we had a room close to the stairs and at the bottom of the stair is a door whit a spring which slams shut, some dampening on the door with for example some pads would make this problem a lot better. Really good food and awesome service! My family comes here every Christmas. They even have craft beer which is rare in Germany. Try the pumpkin Gnocci!
