Clean hotel close to the Westfallenhallen so it was a convenient location

Yes, there are investments to be made into the rooms. Especially the bathrooms. The carpets and curtains are even horrendous at times. But the entrance is grand, the breakfast absolutely ok, service very friendly and helpful and the location evidently unbeatable when the fair or stadium is your destination. 4 stars is a bit too much, but 3 isn't justified either.

We booked a room with one double bed. When we arrived this was not available. With some difficulties they compensated us with a welcome drink. The room was fine but the shower was a bit blocked so the bad filled itself slowly. Breakfast was good.

Overall, we were very satisfied. The location was perfect for the Westfalenhalle, the trade fair, and the stadium. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were comfortable. The €20 per day parking fee is something to consider if you're arriving by car. It was a bit overpriced and noisy due to an event. The staff was relaxed.

Clean, has a fridge but had some issues with the heating. Close to local shops and restaurants and quiet at night to go and sleep.

Located right in front of the station, with a BvB shop very close by. The room had an electric kettle, was clean, and comfortable to stay in. The front desk staff were also very kind.

The hotel is right in front of the train station, pretty easy to find. The breakfast has a wide variety of food, very attentive personnel, and spotless facilities.

A well functional hotel, fine views, great breakfast, alright gym, nice pool and saunas for a few days works and pleasure. The service is somewhat doubtful, miscommunication and mistakes in checkin, housekeeping confused and busy, but easily fixed. Parking and charging is expensive but good.

Everything is fine, but the WiFi is comically bad. Not that it matters anymore with any Cellphone getting 300+ Mbits these days. But 5 Down/ 5 Up ... it's almost fascinating, like going back in time :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Dortmund and would happily return. Travelling as a family with our 7 year old, the hotel felt welcoming, comfortable and well suited to all of us. One of the highlights was the swimming pool and sauna area, which we all really enjoyed and found to be a lovely way to relax together. This was the perfect hotel for us. We wanted a German experience and it delivered. Great service, people and ambience. We had visitors at dinner and they were welcomed without question and with flawless service.

Really lovely hotel, great location Very attractive building, easy to reach from the station, about 5 minutes walk. Room was lovely, up in the eaves, light and airy and I love the football themed artwork around the place, especially the one in the bedroom which covered one wall. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice bar and they went out of their way to return the headphones I left in my room.

Was very disappointed with my room I booked a superior room but it was small and unpleasant. According to the desk clerk there was no mistake and this is a Superior Room. Had our stay here whilst exhibiting at the ADAC SIM expo. All the staff were amazing and extremely helpful. The rooms and public areas were kept very clean and tidy. The standout star for our stay was Steven (restaurant/Bar staff). He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Great guy to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water.

It was a very comfortable stay for a family with child and dog. Room was cosy. Breakfast was very nice and nutritious . Downstairs table football for a small family game was also fun.

We chose this hotel because it was near the Arena, where an event took place we wanted to attend. First of all it was rather easy to find, the underground station is really near the hotel. There are also a lot of restaurants, a bank and other stores around. It's also easy to reach the city center via underground. At night it was rather silent and we could sleep well. Really nice hotel right next to Dortmund Hbf. Lovely room but I found it poor lighting near the sofa. I found the beds really comfy to say it was a single and the best part they have long duvets which I found amazing in keeping you warm. Has a mini bar but there is no kettle. Location is good, but the hotel’s cleanliness is questionable. I found hairs on the bed, which strongly suggests the bed sheet was not replaced after the previous guest checked out. Even if it was replaced, the housekeeping team needs to pay much closer attention to cleaning and inspecting the bedding properly.

Well actually fine, but this hotel just looks so weird. The room looks fine but not really clean. The pillows cover was broken and many hair on the bathroom floor and wall. The water cooker was not working properly. The glas were dirty and no tea or coffee on the table.

The hotel is centrally located in Dortmund, a perfect base for the Christmas market, and includes a generous breakfast. The rooms are spotless. The wellness facilities are a nice bonus. We will definitely be back.

I had an apartment with a kitchenette for 1 week at the Esplanade. Since I didn't have a car, it was convenient--only about 3 blocks from the Hauptbahnhof and a couple of blocks from the central pedestrian zone. The hotel itself is perfectly fine, the room was spacious and luxurious. The wellness area and saunas were clean and very tidy. The staff in the bar and wellness center were friendly and helpful. However, I have a complaint regarding the "emperor" at the reception. His behavior is like he conquered this hotel.

I was with my family last weekend for just 1 night and it was very pleasant, I have nothing to complain about. It is a hotel away from the center, modern and comfortable. We didn't arrive in time for dinner at the restaurant but it would certainly be an option. The room was clean, good supply of soap, towels and toilet paper. In the wardrobe were the slippers and plastic bags. Good cost-benefit.

Definitely one of the best place in town for specially occasion. I have been there with my parents, the food is amazing, the owner(chef) came out and have conversation at the table. The service is excellent, the waiter was very helpful and assisted me from removing jacket, adjust the seat to preparing food or remove bone at the table. Beautiful place, just you need be local or have a car, very typical German delicious food well executed. The areas are not really clear we have to walk through the parking and members of security give priority a car over three years old kid, so be aware. I think the party area could be better organise and members of staff are be more professional not playing in customers area, a mean from other side...

We stayed 3 nights over a weekend in April in this very nice small hotel. We had a large room in the new building next to the old hosue with the restaurant. The interior including the bathroom was very modern and worked very well. Very little noise from other guests or from the traffic. Breakfast was traditionally German, fresh and delicious.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer modern und sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen.

The building was big and open, outside is a nice walking route behind the carpark, free car park was a great touch, bakery & restaurant down stairs in the main part off the building
