We stayed in the Badhotel section so we could get easy access to the thermal baths next door. We arrived late and had to self-checkin, but they gave us all the information we needed so it was no trouble. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is of a high standard. A charmingly run hotel with a lovely spa area, fantastic treatments, and delicious food. Ideally located in the city and easily accessible by public transport (just 220 steps to the S-Bahn). I'd love to come back!

We spent a weekend in Bad Wildbad and felt very comfortable at Mr. Weingärtner's hotel, where he greeted us warmly upon arrival. The rooms were comfortably furnished, the breakfast was plentiful, and the entire service was very attentive.

I was able to spend 10 wonderfully relaxing days in this hotel. Both the food and service were wonderful. Even though the bed wasn't necessarily suitable for me at first, Mr. Weingärtner was able to quickly remedy the situation. Thank you again for this wonderful vacation.

Lovely place to stay, good breakfast available, everywhere was within walking distance, unless you wanted to go to Calmbach or Pforzheim obviously, opera house venues just 3 minutes walk away but most importantly the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Big plus! A delightful stay!

We have had dinner at alte linde. The food was good the service was fine as well. What was a shame is when entering the building, all you smell is sigarets.

A nice traditional German restaurant serving local specialities and more. A salad buffet is included with meals and their drinks menu contains obscure fruit wines.

A small family operation, consisting of a Hotel and Restaurant. We have visited the Restaurant. Nice menu, pleasant prices, and the order was quickly executed, in spite of busier number of visitors. Very good, the salads from the Buffet and the chips are here.

Great experience. Philip was very helpful in helping us store our bicycles safely. I genuinely loved the 80s vibe of the decor. Spotlessly clean. The garden was a tranquil spot for a beer in the evening.

Sitting at the breakfast table, enjoying the extensive offerings - really very extensive - and happy to pass on our very good impression of the house. Unfortunately, we were only able to enjoy their hospitality for two days. We felt very comfortable and in good hands. Had a very spacious, bright room, very clean. Family helpful and very friendly. Loved staying here. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Room was a great size and had a comfortable dining area and kitchenette with all you needed. We dined here and food and service was excellent.

Simply great. We stopped over for a late lunch after hiking and it was an amazing choice. For Kürbis (pumpkin) season they have special dishes and they are very tasty. Coffee and cakes were also very delicious. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable as well. The service is attentive and nice. All in all an amazing place. Top tip: if you can, try the bruscetta with kürbis. It was outstanding

We ate at restaurant. Service and food was great. Waiter was friendly and helpful as we do not speak German. We had spatzel and schnitzel and both dishes were tasty as well as reasonably priced compared to other very average restaurants we have experienced in Black Forest region.

Excellent clean room, great breakfast, good restaurant for other meals and exceptional customer service. The staff went out of their way to make our vacation enjoyable, including staying open for drinks a bit later than planned. Highly recommend Hotel Restaurant Auerhahn!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Lovely room, great location at the top of Sommelberg, next to funicular, so getting into town and back up is easy. Lovely hiking and biking trails, great food, great hospitality.

Very nice place. Friendly service, big variety of dishes, wheelchair accessible, kid friendly. Highly recommended!
