We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Lovely room, great location at the top of Sommelberg, next to funicular, so getting into town and back up is easy. Lovely hiking and biking trails, great food, great hospitality.
Excellent clean room, great breakfast, good restaurant for other meals and exceptional customer service. The staff went out of their way to make our vacation enjoyable, including staying open for drinks a bit later than planned. Highly recommend Hotel Restaurant Auerhahn!
Very nice place. Friendly service, big variety of dishes, wheelchair accessible, kid friendly. Highly recommended!
The food prices are very reasonable considering just how large the servings are. For example, the pepper steak came with fries, potato salad hidden under a veggetable salad (that’s right, two sides of potato) as well as a huge knob of herb butter. It was also very good, so it’s not quantity over quality. The service was very quick and friendly as well, i’ll definitely go back if i’m in the area again.

We celebrated our wedding at grouse and had a wonderful day.
The Location is beautiful, the Service was great and the food all were really excited. Our overnight guests have felt in their rooms, they are neat and nicely decorated.
The grouse Team has also been done in Advance already. You have taken a lot of time for us, and us in all kinds of tasks, from menu and beverage selection, on the recommendations of good DJs up to the end of the day myself great advice and support.
We can recommend the grouse and would like to thank you once again very warmly to the whole Team!

We were on Sundays, not at noon, to receive there against the 12 o'clock just to be nice.
The food came 15 min before the other 4 what is eaten and then to our table arrive, in the meantime, had the first already.the Service there is a lack of experience, in our opinion, everything is not justified by temporary workers from the trade at such prices.especially since you can't even pay attention to footwear of some. Price performance does not match with the Service and the friendliness. Food in General was very mouse buttons as a Fleischklobs with dough potato salad ass wrapped cold? Roast thick and not as ordered fried onion roughly and partially with bowl, child's portion lenses for seven-fifty would have just passed on my Sparrow. Also, the sliced stroganoff were sauce fried beef strips with a fry ne ne ne so the.

Very nice hotel, the rooms, everything quite new. The staff was also very friendly. Had booked an Overnight stay in a double room with Breakfast. It was very tasty! Even a Check-in before 12h. Happy again! :-)
Very nice atmoshpere, great quality food and very friendly and proactive staff. We went there after our Waldwipfelweg-Challenge where my mom (89) took a slide challenge from the top, so we were hungry and this experience here made our visit complete!
