Absolutely beautiful set up. This country hotel is a real gem! We felt comfortable from the first minute. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff impressed us every day. Loved staying here. We had a family room for 2 adults and 2 teens. Room was a great size and had a comfortable dining area and kitchenette with all you needed. We dined here and food and service was excellent.

Simply great. We stopped over for a late lunch after hiking and it was an amazing choice. For Kürbis (pumpkin) season they have special dishes and they are very tasty. Coffee and cakes were also very delicious. Portion sizes are generous and prices are reasonable as well. The service is attentive and nice. All in all an amazing place. We ate at restaurant. Service and food was great. Waiter was friendly and helpful as we do not speak German. We had spatzel and schnitzel and both dishes were tasty as well as reasonably priced compared to other very average restaurants we have experienced in Black Forest region.

We stayed at the hotel for four nights. Lovely room, great location at the top of Sommelberg, next to funicular, so getting into town and back up is easy. Lovely hiking and biking trails, great food, great hospitality.

It was good for a stay over. When we arrived we had to help our self for a key but we could not find one. After a phone call it was quick solved. Diner in a local diner was oké. Place was nice. Diner was a little bit dry. In the morning you could have breakfast what looked very good. We went to a store in bakary with nice fresh bread. For use it was a good stay over for the night to go on the way...

There is just one thing that I would change: dark cittadina so that you can leave the shutters open and get Some fresh air in when you sleep. The hotel is quite warm

Rooms are big and modern, we like it a lot. Also breakfast was really nice . You can get almost anything you wish. One star down is for parking, ..I mean there are few parking slots directly by hotel, but our VW Bus has huge problem to stay there. If you find place on street then all will be ok.

Traditional restaurant a short walk from the funicular base station. Full of locals it seemed which is always a good sign. We stopped for some cake as our accommodation host recommended it. I also had a goats cheese salad which was excellent.

I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay with great views, an attentive staff, and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are a nice size and the balcony is a perfect place to relax. Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

This is such a quaint hotel right in the city centre with friendly staff. If you are looking for basics but great location and well heated rooms with larger bathroom this is for you. Nice but get a receipt! Our stay was great, comfortable room, nice area. However, I was charged twice for my room and have been unable to get the second charge refunded through hotels,com. I am in the process of disputing the charge with cc company. We checked out early due to an early morning train reservation so I do not have a receipt from check out.

The room was well equipped and neat and tidy, right next to the baths. There is a small tourist Tax that must be paid when you arrive outside of the indicated fee, but it wasn't prohibitive.

This property was awesome! It was in a quiet courtyard in a beautiful area of shops and dining. The owners addressed all details. My only suggestion would be to have a picture of the front door and sign on the website so you were completely sure you are entering the correct location.

Googlemaps had an issue finding the property but after we found it, it was easy. Quick and easy checkin. Room is quite small but it was clean. Baden-Baden has a “spa” tax and guests must complete the form and submit the tax with cash or PayPal separately. Definitely a challenge if you don’t speak German!

Great stay! The place was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but for one person it was fine. The toilet paper holder was broken but I emailed and they fixed it the day after.

Hotel Romerhof has a delightful old-fashioned elegance. It's a nice small hotel with very attentive staff who spoke both German and English with us. The breakfast was simple and adequate. The hotel's location is excellent for the old town, Christmas market and spa.

This was our second time staying at Hotel Romerhof. By far our favorite hotel! Friendly staff, great breakfast, clean. Close to restaurants, shopping, bus service. Very walkable location. Close to Lichtenaler Allee, a lovely walk along the river. Would definitely stay here again!

A small, simple hotel, very close to both spas. No special features, but everything needed of excellent quality. Traditional room but modern shower room. Good sleep and excellent breakfast for a small place. I forgot something in room. They very kindly and efficiently posted it to me at home. Would go back there if I return for another spa day.

Ideal location for the thermal baths It was a pleasant stay in a good location. Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast was good too. We were given a good recommendation for a restaurant, help with parking too.

This hotel is located 2 min walking distance from the Caracalla term. It is also few minutes walk from the center of Baden-Baden and the bus stops. There is a covered garage at the property. It is the second time we stay in this hotel and we love it.

Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay. We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

A wonderful stay in Baden Baden, the only thing that was a bit tricky was having to take trays up to our room or the terrace because we had our dog with us, but totally understand as the breakfast room was very small. This is a lovely smallish hotel, with nice individualized rooms. It is very quiet and well situated. The parking is shared with another hotel around the corner. It is near the center of the city. Breakfasts are nice with many varied options. We had an excellent dinner. The staff is very pleasant.
