This was a very relaxing hotel that was close to everything in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations for our first family vacation to Germany.

This is my second time at the Parkhotel Luise. The last time was 4 years ago. The stay was again very relaxing. I had a single room with half board. The room was very quiet, but I wish the rooms had been renovated. The carpeting doesn't look quite as nice anymore, and some parts of the bathroom could use some updating. The decor was very creative and artistic. The experience was very personal and did not feel like a chain hotel but a boutique resort.

The hotel is simple, but very cosy. Personal, food, rooms - all is very nice. They really try their best. Sauna small, but was never busy.Finn sauna and bio(less temp). Stayed in the Kull von Schmidsfelden for two nights in July. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was really good buffet-style with a range of fresh breads, meats, cheeses etc. The owners were really helpful, offering to drive us to the station on our last morning. This country hotel is a real gem! We felt comfortable from the first minute. The friendliness and courtesy of the staff impressed us every day. At the breakfast buffet there was everything your heart desires. A place to unwind, at least that's what we did every day, for example in the cozy pavilion on the terrace.

Very good value for money! The hotel is not the most modern, but it is well maintained and clean. The breakfast buffet offers a classic selection and the quality of the products is impeccable. The food prices are very reasonable considering just how large the servings are. For example, the pepper steak came with fries, potato salad hidden under a veggetable salad (that’s right, two sides of potato) as well as a huge knob of herb butter. What a wonderful hotel. We stayed here for eight nights in December and absolutely loved it. Breakfast was amazing, especially the bagel and custom omelets. The room was spacious and the patio overlooking the park was amazing. This was the first hotel we requested a crib and actually received it without asking, along with a baby amenity kit. Rooms are big and modern, we like it a lot. Also breakfast was really nice . You can get almost anything you wish. One star down is for parking, ..I mean there are few parking slots directly by hotel, but our VW Bus has huge problem to stay there. If you find place on street then all will be ok.

We have just toured the Black Forest on our bikes all the way from the UK We stayed here so we would be at the start of the B500 What a great place , spotlessly clean, food 100% and the Chef & team were absolutely spot on .. I did not stay in the hotel so I cannot talk about the rooms or hotel part of Waldcafé. However, the restaurant is brilliant. There is a really nice outside eating area which is very pleasant when the sun is out. The food is very great, the service very quick and the people were very nice. If you're on your way to Merkurberg or even on your way down, make sure to make a stop !

The hotel is average at best and I feel once we go to Baden-Baden realised there were many better places to stay. The best thing about the hotel was the massive room size and its balcony. But there were many problems - the water temperature in the showers was not consistent, there no acs so the rooms are very hot, etc During our stay there was also construction nearby so it was extremely.

Getting to the hotel is difficult and the staff had no idea about the public transportation system and we almost missed our train but for convenience to the Caracalla spa it was perfect and you’re able to go directly into the spa and even pay at the hotel.

This is such a quaint hotel right in the city centre with friendly staff. If you are looking for basics but great location and well heated rooms with larger bathroom this is for you. A lot cheaper than other hotels in the area. Baden Baden is such a beautiful town you will want to spend your time out and about.

The Roman Bath spa is directly across from the hotel and the newer spa is about a 2 minute walk up a safe, lovely path. Nice but get a receipt! Our stay was great, comfortable room, nice area. However, I was charged twice for my room and have been unable to get the second charge refunded through hotels,com. I am in the process of disputing the charge with cc company. We checked out early due to an early morning train reservation so I do not have a receipt from check out.

The room was well equipped and neat and tidy, right next to the baths. There is a small tourist Tax that must be paid when you arrive outside of the indicated fee, but it wasn't prohibitive.

This property was awesome! It was in a quiet courtyard in a beautiful area of shops and dining. The owners addressed all details. My only suggestion would be to have a picture of the front door and sign on the website so you were completely sure you are entering the correct location.

Googlemaps had an issue finding the property but after we found it, it was easy. Quick and easy checkin. Room is quite small but it was clean. Baden-Baden has a “spa” tax and guests must complete the form and submit the tax with cash or PayPal separately. Definitely a challenge if you don’t speak German!

Great stay! The place was a bit smaller than I thought it would be but for one person it was fine. The toilet paper holder was broken but I emailed and they fixed it the day after.

Cons: limited space for serving food in the restaurant, always crowded. No pre-cut vegetables and a limited selection of sweet pastries (only croissants and biscuits). Room cleaning was average; bed linens were not changed during our 9-day stay. We only stayed one night, they were very accommodating and friendly. Rooms were comfortable with noticeable upgrades for an older building. Breakfast was very good with lots of options but most of all the location to shopping can’t be beat for the price. We will return to this hotel.

A wonderful old villa that is now being used as a hotel! Located in the fancy central/ eastern part of the town, the staff are very well-mannered and -trained, the breakfast is delicious, and the room made me feel like I was in a movie about some posh people living in the late 19th/ early 20th century. This is a lovely smallish hotel, with nice individualized rooms. It is very quiet and well situated. The parking is shared with another hotel around the corner. It is near the center of the city. Breakfasts are nice with many varied options. We had an excellent dinner. The staff is very pleasant.
