Very nice and big Hotel, placed in the Middle of the Woods with a very nice View. They have also Wellness Area. The Stuff was very nice and the Rooms clean. It's also not so far from the Titisee. There is a Road trough the Woods and we walkt about 15-20 Minutes. I recommend it.

We were very satisfied! All the staff were very polite and helpful! The food was also very good! The hotel is a bit old! You just have to ignore it! The walls are quite thin so it's hard to hear anything!

We visited the hotel (family with 2 young children) and we were delighted, we had such an amazing time. Good hotel for a weekend break

Rooms were spacious and staff was very nice. Breakfast was not included in the price, but they offer quite a big selection. The location is ideal for reaching the Schluchtensteig. There is a sauna, whirlpool and steam bath but are offered as separate services.

We stayed here for a holiday with many children. The services offered by the hotel were great, they provided lunch and breakfast and the rooms were all very personalized.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. I'm an inexperienced hiker and managed to walk to both of the nearby lakes with ease. Breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are very clean and the bathroom in particular is very modern with a good shower. Highly recommend this hotel, I will be staying here again.

We came in pretty late on a Sunday evening for dinner and were delighted to find them still open! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, despite our language barriers. Food was traditional and very good. An honest local business that I’d highly recommend!

I came to Kappel by bus and saw the sign for the inn/hotel open. When I asked the boss personally whether I could get a coffee before my tour as a non-house guest, I received a friendly answer, but of course I could. I was also allowed to look at the beautiful dining room. I'd love to come by for dinner on my next vacation. Kind regards and thanks again

PROS: Lovely, charming place. It has a sort of rustic cabin charm with wooden walls and furniture, flowers and decorations. We stayed there twice, and twice we requested apartment A1 (we recommend this, if available), which includes a bedroom with a double bed, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining table and a balcony overlooking the yard.
