There is so much I could say, but this place is ideal. The rooms were great. The largest and nicest rooms we stayed in during our time in Germany. Also it's located in the most beautiful place on earth. I almost don't want to rate it well because I don't want other people realizing how awesome it is here. Had a lovely overnight stay here. Room was comfortable and the food excellent. The staff were friendly and the only tiny thing that I could complain about was the requirement to sit for breakfast where I had been seated for dinner, instead of another table where I could have enjoyed the view.

What we didn’t like was the restaurant outside dining was below our window and the cigarette smoke came in our window. The crowd was noisy. But the restaurant closed at ten then it was very quiet.

At check-in there was nothing at the desk, a waiter from the restaurant tried to assist and we figured it out. In the morning the receptionist was quit rude, would not look at me, short answers, and just not very friendly. Amazed at her rudeness in such a beautiful place.

First time this year in the Gasthof. The location is excellent if you want to be close to the nature and in a peaceful place. There are many opportunities for hiking as well and exploring the black forest. The room we had was excellent. Clean, very cozy and with all the amenities one might need. I honestly loved being there and I would go back again!

A perfect stay. We had the room with a sauna, which we used every day. Breakfast was extensive. The location was excellent; in a quiet, picturesque village, yet you can easily reach Freiburg by train. Hiking trails can be started right from the hotel.

The bedroom was large and modern with a huge, comfy bed. Nice coffee machine and sufficient storage space for clothing. The bathroom was a little dated but all nice and clean. Parking directly outside. Self check in took a while, and I can imagine some people might struggle with this.

Needed to contact staff but it's not possible as I needed two more sachets of coffee! Anyway went to Lidl which was 6 mins drive. Stay was good for two nights with my family.

This will forever be one of my favorite stays! It’s charming, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff were very kind and funny!

Lovely Boutique Hotel Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. The service was excellent. Only concern is the room was warm and the giant window only opened a crack. The room did have three fans, which we used all night. Other than ventilation, it’s a great boutique hotel!

Overall, the hotel was well located and we received a warm welcome. The rooms could be better soundproofed, as we could hear our neighbors late into the night and early in the morning, which affected our rest. On the other hand, the room was large and the bathroom had a toilet. It should be noted that the only toiletries provided were hand soap and shower gel, so bring your own shampoo and conditioner...

I stayed there for few days, it was good for the price, breakfast was included, friendly staff and close to train station. HOWEVER they charged money higher than what they wrote in booking.com and they said it's city tax or something, but that doesn't justify them to take higher price than what they themselves wrote in booking.com

We stayed there for just a couple of days but we loved the place. The rooms are cozy and the breakfast was so good. Not so far from the station this is a good hotel to stay.

If you are born in the 90ties, you might feel a little retro upon entering your room. The interior is not exactly what is called modern today. Good sized rooms and a huge bathroom. Very Clean and well maintained. We even had a balcony opening up to great surrounding views.

Affordable quirky hotel. A bit dated but spotlessly clean. Best 5 Star breakfast! Best of all are Eugene and his wife who are very friendly and welcoming. Eugene came to the rescue when I got late into the village and couldn’t find accommodation. I would recommend this hotel!

Amazing Fantastic accommodation in a wonderful area
