Where to stay in Todtnau

Food was great! Room is god too. Poor mobile phone signal. Many trucks due to building extension work. Will be perfect after the wirk is completed! Great spa and swimming pool.

The hotel is in a very good location, next to good hiking trials. Room was basic but fine. As a number of reviews have noted, service is hit and miss. There was no one on reception when we arrived, and we had to wait in the restaurant for ten minutes to then check in. Dinner service was fine, but the breakfast service was atrocious. There is so much I could say, but this place is ideal. The rooms were great. The largest and nicest rooms we stayed in during our time in Germany. Also it's located in the most beautiful place on earth. I almost don't want to rate it well because I don't want other people realizing how awesome it is here. It's not in the town of Todtnau, but just up the hill close to a massive suspension walking bridge...

One of the best spontaneous decisions I’ve ever made; needed a place to stay during my motorcycle adventure through the Black Forest and this was amazing! The extremely friendly staff, food, property, everything…I wish I had known about this area sooner, I definitely would have made this my normal stop more often.

Great location for quick access to Feldberg ski area. Parking was very spacious. Breakfast and dinner here were delicious. The best part was the lovely staff :)

Black Forest experience Very nice hotel operated by a very nice family with personal service and a great restaurant. Right in the heart of the Black Forest but not in a town.

Recommend their trout (seems that they keep about 50 trout with the river nearby, and they'll catch one when you place an order). They'll fry it very crispy on the skin, while the meat is unbelievably soft. Beef and spatzle are also very good as well. Breakfast is great and rich. They even provide yogurt and chopped fruit as salad. I also like their homemade sekt. Room is very big and comfortable...

Very nice hotel with lovely people right in the blackforest. Food is great and they offer indoor parking for your motorbike. Absolutely value for money. Will I return : YES !

The nicest place in the mountains. small river rushing in the endless back yard. very nice staff, good breakfast, big rooms with great view of the back yard. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. definitely a place to stop for the night and in a great price.

Great experience! Certainly recommended! Fantastic service with kind and polite staff. The rooms are clean, practical and have all amenities required. Breakfast consists of local and fresh products with eggs made on the spot per your request. There is a busstop literally in front of the door. Very close to ski center, clean, comfortable, kind personal

We were part of 2 young families who stayed here for 3 nights in March 2022. Overall a pleasant experience with very clean rooms, hospitable and polite staff and accessibility to multiple ski slopes withing 5km of this place. We had breakfast included as part of our room rate and it was very good (eggs to order) and good selection of cold cuts, coffees, fruits, cheese, etc. The staff also recommended...

Delicious food in a beautiful garden terrace overlooking the forested mountain! The service was great and very welcoming. We had the snitzel and a local wild hog bratwurst. Highly recommended.

Super freundlich und persönlich! Hunde werden mit offenen Armen empfangen. Sehr sauber, trozdem heimelig und im Egypten-Zimmer gibt es sehr bequeme Madratzen!

We loved our stay. The owner is amazing! Love the way he take cares of tiny detailings. The food was yummy, also the home made cakes :) I would for sure stay again here.
