Reviews
As a number of reviews have noted, service is hit and miss. There was no one on reception when we arrived, and we had to wait in the restaurant for ten minutes to then check in. Dinner service was fine, but the breakfast service was atrocious.
Limited staff, disinterested in the needs of guests, and the buffet was not replenished quick enough. Again, no one was on reception when we went to leave - just poor. I would certainly return to the area, but not this hotel.
Good value single bed room in top condition and lots of space, with a very good buffet breakfast (if you arrive before 9 - after the choice was limited), a small in-house wellness sauna and access (8 minutes drive or free bus) to partner hotel’s impressive wellness centre (pool, several saunas, steam, plus charged treatments). Food in the atmospherically alpine dining rooms was good, if slightly on the expensive side. Not so good: the website promises a direct access to a lift and alpine run - no information that this had, in fact run out of snow and was closed over a month ago. But the close enough run (Notschrei) was good enough.
Nice hotel in a beautiful location. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in the hotel. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed.
