Hotels in Burghausen

The Glöcklhofer is a nice hotel close to the castle in Burghousen. It as a spa and is also about 1 km from the old town. The rooms are comfortable and well isolated, the only detail is they have carpet which I personally don't like.

Stayed for a few weeks. Great stay. Clean hotel with great service. Delicious breakfast, with lots of variety. Location is excellent with a nice walk to the castle and old town. Also right next to multiple restaurants and shops on the main road.

All the staff is amazing and hotel facilities are great. Is very well located. Please try the hotel restaurant! Great decor, amazing staff and the most delicious food!

Mirela Nedel, the receptionist /front desk has been so helpful, she works hard to make sure you are comfortable. The hospitality here is excellent. I'm from the US and Mirela was so patient with me due to the language barrier. She does speak English very well. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. As I was leaving my room I saw one of the cleaning ladies on her knees cleaning the bathroom. ...

Placed in a very good position:parking,shops,coffee shops,supermarket very close.Clean rooms,a very good breakfast and really kind and helpful receptionist.Some noise from time to time but not unacceptable.All in all I would recommend it to others in need of an acceptable place to lodge for some time.

This hotel is run by a Turkish uncle who is very welcoming, but I have to say that the hotel facilities are rather old, the corridors are very dark, and the door locks are not electronic. Opposite the room I stayed was a platform that opened onto another building. I didn't dare sleep with it on at night and there was no air conditioning in the room.

The rooms are nice, and the breakfast is also good. What disturbs me (and others) is the poor looking and operating elevator, the entrance area and the corridors.

First the positive: The breakfast buffet was rich and appealing with very nice service staff. There was a super great pizzeria and gelateria, which were on the ground floor of the hotel. We had a great evening there and the pizzas were just perfect and authentically Italian.
 The negative side: 
We booked three rooms. The rooms would actually be modern and nice. But no matter where you look: NOTHING...

Overall, an “ok” stay- Our hotel room had carpeted floors, which felt unclean and there were wrappers under the bed that hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom was clean and the room service was good. We traveled with a small child in a travel crib and both mornings upon wakening we noticed she had been bit overnight on her arms and face- even when we slept with the windows closed! We never saw any bugs...

The hotel is veryclose to the train station, supermarkets and restaurants. Staff of the hotel is very welcoming. My room was very spacious (it was a room for 2). Bathroom as well was quite big. Everything was super clean. The breakfast offers a good choice of sweet and salty dishes. Overall I was really satisfied.

We had a wonderful stay at Lindacher Hof in Burghausen. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with kitchen facilities, which was perfect for our family with three children. The booking process via email was quick and very easy. The service was excellent, and the Owners were extremely kind and welcoming. The location is very good and you can easily reach restaurants and shopping. Although it was their first day back at work after the holiday, the hotel staff was very enthusiastic and organized. They also prepared a crib for our baby in time. She slept very happily.

Nice hotel not very near Munich

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our cycling tour along the Tauern Cycle Path. Everything was perfect. Check-in outside of reception hours, the excellent breakfast, the friendly staff, the beautiful, lovingly decorated room... And all this at a great price.

This concerns only the restaurant — cheerful, adequate food, not particularly cheap. If you’re looking for Bavarian food, you should try the restaurant across the square.

Gasthof Schwarz offers a truly Bavarian dining experience, from the rustic interior to the hearty menu. During dinner, we tried the Hohenwarter Teufelstoast – it was decent, though not a standout. The Pommes could’ve been better, but the Lammmedaillons were tender and full of flavor. The Knusperschnitzel von der Pute was also good, and the accompanying Kartoffel-Feldsalat was a real highlight. Pro: The staff is super friendly. It is located next to the river and has pretty views. The breakfast & restaurant are nice. Bathrooms are well-stocked. Cons: I had some issues with payment, because my American card didn’t work, so ended up paying in cash. It is hard to reach without a car / taxi.
