Stayed for a few weeks. Great stay. Clean hotel with great service. Delicious breakfast, with lots of variety. Location is excellent with a nice walk to the castle and old town. Also right next to multiple restaurants and shops on the main road.

Nice hotel - clean rooms, a nice (small) sauna. Very good breakfast. Overlooking the valley and adjacent to the beautiful castle. No complaints and would recommend.

Excellent staff. They were very helpful in making all local arrangements including taxi. Perfect location between old town and new town. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Wholesome breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Placed in a very good position:parking,shops,coffee shops,supermarket very close.Clean rooms,a very good breakfast and really kind and helpful receptionist.Some noise from time to time but not unacceptable.All in all I would recommend it to others in need of an acceptable place to lodge for some time.

This hotel is run by a Turkish uncle who is very welcoming, but I have to say that the hotel facilities are rather old, the corridors are very dark, and the door locks are not electronic. Opposite the room I stayed was a platform that opened onto another building. I didn't dare sleep with it on at night and there was no air conditioning in the room.

The rooms are nice, and the breakfast is also good. What disturbs me (and others) is the poor looking and operating elevator, the entrance area and the corridors.

First the positive: The breakfast buffet was rich and appealing with very nice service staff. There was a super great pizzeria and gelateria, which were on the ground floor of the hotel. We had a great evening there and the pizzas were just perfect and authentically Italian.
 The negative side: 
We booked three rooms. The rooms would actually be modern and nice. But no matter where you look: NOTHING...

Overall, an “ok” stay- Our hotel room had carpeted floors, which felt unclean and there were wrappers under the bed that hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom was clean and the room service was good. We traveled with a small child in a travel crib and both mornings upon wakening we noticed she had been bit overnight on her arms and face- even when we slept with the windows closed! We never saw any bugs...

The place to go in the Chiemgau/Salzburg region, if you are looking for an authentic hotel in a historic surrounding, here: an old Cistercensian monastery founded in the 12th century. The rooms inside the old and thick walls are spacious and tastefully decorated. You sleep in comfortable bed inside a baroque style picture frame. The bathroom is fittingly decorated with black and golden glazed tiles...

Nice and calm place to stay overnight. However, it is a bit off the village centre, which which visitors may want to take into consideration. Nice garden restaurant and spacious rooms.

There was everything there for a good start into the day. So everything was great for me.

Nice hotel not very near Munich

Great place to stay with great enmities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we'll equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great with a great choice. The sauna was well equipped and very clean. I had a very enjoyable two night stay. I definitely recommend this if you are in Burghausen.

Very good hotel in the center of the town. Rooms and furniture are not ultra new but pretty good. Lot of free parking near the hotel as well as paid parking in their garage. Breakfast is decent. Very good internet connection as compared to other hotels in the town. Close to many restaurants. I always stay here when in Burgahusen and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I almost always stay here on my business trips to BGH. It is a great hotel with reliable wifi.

Burghausen is one of Bavaria’s most charming towns, its centre set below a spectacular long castle. And you can have the fun of walking from the central square across the adjacent Salzach River into Austria and being back in ten minutes. Having enjoyed lunch on the shaded terrace of this hotel’s restaurant in 2020, we returned to stay at the hotel three years later. We had comfortable, huge rooms...

We had lunch here, nothing spectacular. They had bayerische food. Outdoor sitting available. Price is reasonable for the quantity. We had fish.

This concerns only the restaurant — cheerful, adequate food, not particularly cheap. If you’re looking for Bavarian food, you should try the restaurant across the square.

Spent 2 nights here and found it to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is quite standard, nothing special. Is has most things that you need. Cleanliness is not top of the list. Breakfast wasn't too bad. You have a good choice.

very friendly staff, good bourgeois ambiance, always clean. Frequently changing menu, a good Mix of fancy, down-to-earth, regional and seasonal dishes, always prepared, and if something is not perfect is the staff responds immediately and directly to complaints. In my opinion the best home-style Restaurant in a large radius. Recommendation for the onion roast and especially the game dishes.
