The Glöcklhofer is a nice hotel close to the castle in Burghousen. It as a spa and is also about 1 km from the old town. The rooms are comfortable and well isolated, the only detail is they have carpet which I personally don't like.

Stayed for a few weeks. Great stay. Clean hotel with great service. Delicious breakfast, with lots of variety. Location is excellent with a nice walk to the castle and old town. Also right next to multiple restaurants and shops on the main road.

Mirela Nedel, the receptionist /front desk has been so helpful, she works hard to make sure you are comfortable. The hospitality here is excellent. I'm from the US and Mirela was so patient with me due to the language barrier. She does speak English very well. The cleaning staff does an excellent job. As I was leaving my room I saw one of the cleaning ladies on her knees cleaning the bathroom. Talk about clean, it's very clean. All the staff here has been extremely kind and patient. Kudos to Mirela Nedel. Kudos to Mirela and the others as well. You will not be disappointed. And the Hotel is next to the long mile Castle. If I were to come back, this is where I would stay. Glocklhoffer Hotel in Burghausen is excellent.

We stay here every time we visit Munich. It is always a tremendous experience. The staff at the hotel treat us so well and make our travel experience amazing. Thank you so much for the tremendous stay!

Nice hotel - clean rooms, a nice (small) sauna. Very good breakfast. Overlooking the valley and adjacent to the beautiful castle.

Excellent staff. They were very helpful in making all local arrangements including taxi. Perfect location between old town and new town. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Wholesome breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended.

Good hotel with excellent location, friendly personnel, delicious breakfast.
One point was reduced due to a very strange mattress and pillow. The mattress was like a hammock...and it was strange to see that there was no first aid ⛑️ box at the reception when someone asked for a plaster.
But as said, the service was very friendly. Did not have a chance to check the spa area, but next time, for sure.
