There's absolutely nothing to complain about here. The staff are all incredibly friendly and always strive to fulfill every guest's wishes. The food is superb. We had half-board and enjoyed a delicious five-course meal every evening. The room was large and clean. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and saunas. We would love to come back and thank you for the wonderful winter holiday.

We stayed here over Christmas (4 nights) as part of a bus tour (E*** Travel). There were several points of discussion where our tour guide disagreed with the restaurant manager and/or the owner. We, at our (the only fun) table, had no complaints. A hotel located on the outskirts of Spiegelau. Our room was a bit dated (furniture from around the 90s). However, the amenities were excellent. A small kitchenette with a refrigerator and freezer compartment, kettle, pots, and dishes were provided. We were at the Tannenhof again and had a very nice and relaxing few days. Great location for hiking tours and trips to the Bavarian Forest. Nice, clean rooms with a small kitchenette, great view from the balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

We have from September 22nd. - 09/27/24 Spent 5 wonderful days of vacation at the Hotel Tannenhof. The employees were all friendly and were available to help with any questions. The half board left nothing to be desired. There was something for every taste. We were able to safely store the e-bikes we brought with us and charge them free of charge. Very nice, nice family-run hotel, everything was very clean and new, friendly staff. Rooms also very nice. Hotel manager is very humorous, can tell jokes well and can also sing. Chef (brother) cooks super delicious. We will come again.

On arrival we were informed about an upgrade which was a very happy surprise. The hotel room was very spacious, modern and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was superb and the water got warm immediately when showering. A bathrobe and towel designated for the wellness area were provided (no slippers though). Amazing county side hotel near Bavarian Forest. Although we were there only for lunch and did not yet stay in the hotel itself. They have a great german/bavarian food variation with tables to sir inside and also outside. Very friendly staff and the place is also amazing for children to play around. Will be back again soon.

This Hotel is the perfect family experience...the facilities are unbelievable and they think of everything. They have so many activities for the children to chose from, childcare, child friendly buffet....the pool are and slides are amazing. We could have spent another week there. The hotel is the perfect kinder hotel - so many things for the kids to do it is impossible to be bored. We have visited many kinder hotels and this one is at the top. The new rooms are clean, well appointed. Only missing is rolladens. With it so bright in the summer months the curtains in the main bed/living area do not block out the bright sun. Unfortunately, at the time of my stay, I was unable to pay by card, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. The cleanliness wasn't 100 percent perfect, but it was of a high standard. Unfortunately, the furniture is a bit dated. Otherwise, as always, a great stay.

We booked a double room, something I would never do again. Very old rooms. An upgrade to a comfort double room for 60 euros for two nights made everything perfect. New rooms with a balcony. The meal itself was wonderful and delicious. The service was more of a problem. Especially during the speech for the birthday girl, the waitresses kept interrupting by bringing drinks, forcing the presenter to interrupt. Nice hotel. Room very neat and clean. Price / performance is good. Friendly staff. I only give a star deduction for breakfast. That was the simplest standard. At my place that morning there was no one from the staff who could have asked about the "missing" eggs, for example.

I have stayed at this hotel several times now. Most recently in July 2021. I've never been disappointed. The apartments are nicely furnished and clean. The staff is very friendly. Everything is still quite familiar here. The breakfast buffet is not as huge as in large hotels, but you will still be full. The rolls are fresh and the morning breakfast egg is not missing. The anger residence have spent a nice little Hotel in which I now already several times my vacation. The Apartments are beautifully furnished and well equipped. It's a cheap clean hotel with very friendly staff. The only downer is the dinner, there are empty containers and bowls if you are not the first. (Salad, dessert, vegetables, etc.) The food is always tasted very late.

Very nice custom salad system, large schnitzel for kids, tasty burgers, with interesting caramelized onions, better than others that I tasted. The hotel is in a quiet location on the outskirts of town. This is particularly advantageous if you have a dog, as there is a small forest and the Saußbachklamm gorge just around the corner. Our room (one that had not been renovated) was perfectly fine for one night and also offered a lovely view of the town and the valley. This place LITERALLY closes down at 22:00. The staff all go home AND TURN OFF ALL THE LIGHTS!! You are forced to go to bed at that time! Absurd, in my opinion.

Idyllic location and the loveliest welcome from staff whilst we were on a concert tour round Europe. Not all hotels welcome us so warmly and it makes such a difference. The view from the room was gorgeous, great facilities (wellness centre and pool!), lovely breakfast- would recommend!

Got a room at short notice and were able to check in well before the agreed time. The location directly in front of the Osser makes the hotel the perfect starting point for mountain hikes. Priced well below the competition from Lahm.

Rich breakfast, room and hotel very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Bed unfortunately with a footboard, not suitable for tall people. Had to lie diagonally to bed because of my 1.91m height. But still very comfortable. Unfortunately, the ventilation in the bathroom is very loud, even when the light is not on. It was still a very nice stay with a great panorama.

Clean, quiet location, lovely landscape, outdoor terrace, friendly staff. After 12 hours of driving, I was late with check-in, but the staff was kind and left the keys at the reception regardless of the time I arrived.

Couldn't find a lift anywhere so carrying luggage up and down 2 floors kept me fit lol The hotel is a little way out of Passau by car but is in pleasant countryside. Car park was full when we arrived , but that was due to one part being closed because a tree was being cut down. In the restaurant the food was good and a varied menu.

We got here early in the a.m. and the lady at the reception was very friendly , helpful and offered us to keep our luggage if we wanted to go to town. We were treated like friends and she made sure our room was done asap.

We spent three days over Christmas in this charming, lovingly run hotel and felt warmly welcomed from the very first minute. Our romantic room with a balcony was absolutely wonderful. Furnished with so many thoughtful touches, we felt completely at ease (our toy poodle was with us too ; )). We spent three days there and lacked for nothing! The journey was a bit difficult as it's quite hidden, but we found it. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our room – the nicest room they had. Then came the first massage, which was very relaxing. My boyfriend was thrilled with the sauna and seemed to use it a lot! Since I have trouble breathing in saunas, I received a soothing massage...

The hotel is at a great hillside location in a quiet area. You can't even hear the street nearby. Owner and staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was nice. We really enjoyed our days in the sauna, hotel and surrounding area. Family atmosphere. Can recommend the hotel to everyone. We will gladly come again.

I stayed at this hotel for a short trip with my boyfriend. We were absolutely amazed by the friendliness of the owner and the delicious dishes! Here you can relax and recover from everyday life. The rooms are very spacious and friendly furnished. The works of art on the walls of the owner's niece give the ambience something very special. We felt very comfortable here and will definitely be back!

Lovely little hotel on the edge of Passau town , easy within walking distance roughly 10mins away , very clean and all rooms had everything you need for a short stay over maybe 1/2 days , excellent breakfast choices of continental, full English and much more , would highly recommend this hotel .

The hotel located across the other side of Danube River, nice environment. Take about 15min walk from the Passau train station. Room is spacious and clean. Staff Elias was very courteous and helpful. The lobby is so nice & the glass ceiling allow sky viewing.

It's a very nice hotel, although the room was a bit smaller than expected. The bath towel was also a bit on the small side. On the positive side, the room came complete with a kettle and beverage kit. The bed was very comfortable and there was an electric fan tocombat the warm weather. One down side is the parking. Whilst yhere is free parking available, it is a couple of hundred yards up hill from...

Located probably a 15 minute walk from the centre, the location is nice. I chose this as it had parking and I wanted somewhere secure for my motorbike, but they charge €20 to park so may as well stay in the centre and pay to park. The room was nice, and breakfast was reasonable.

The lock is very good and new technology compare to most Hotel. It's close to train station and very convenient.

The room facilities are OK, the hygiene is OK, and the bathroom is fully functional. There is a window for ventilation, which is also good. The breakfast on the sixth floor has a complete variety, and the fruits are very good, especially the pears are very sweet and delicious.
