Landhotel Tannenhof in Spiegelau

A hotel located on the outskirts of Spiegelau. Our room was a bit dated (furniture from around the 90s). However, the amenities were excellent. A small kitchenette with a refrigerator and freezer compartment, kettle, pots, and dishes were provided.

The cleanliness of the room was particularly noteworthy; we've rarely experienced such a spotless environment.

The bathroom is small but makes very good use of space.

The spa area is fantastic. A sufficiently large swimming pool. Several saunas with varying temperatures. Wonderful views of the valley from panoramic windows in the pool area. Great changing area with lockers. Cleanliness is a top priority here as well. Loungers are available for relaxing.

A large restaurant with a good layout. Plenty of good food (sometimes a bit too much). Nicely presented.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

All in all, we were pleasantly surprised and will definitely return.

Two points deducted for the rooms, as they are very noisy. At the same time, a group of young skiers (school class) were present who showed no consideration.

There's absolutely nothing to complain about here. The staff are all incredibly friendly and always strive to fulfill every guest's wishes. The food is superb. We had half-board and enjoyed a delicious five-course meal every evening. The room was large and clean. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and saunas. We would love to come back and thank you for the wonderful winter holiday.

We stayed here over Christmas (4 nights) as part of a bus tour (E*** Travel). There were several points of discussion where our tour guide disagreed with the restaurant manager and/or the owner. We, at our (the only fun) table, had no complaints. We spoke with the hotel/restaurant staff ourselves and found that everything was exceptionally well-organized and that they responded positively to any criticisms. We had a wonderful time.

Dinner, especially the Christmas Eve menu, was fantastic and varied (partly buffet, especially the cheese platter... mmm 🤤). The breakfast buffet was also more than adequate, with something for everyone.

The room furnishings are admittedly a bit dated, but everything was clean and in good working order! ☝️

We were at the Tannenhof again and had a very nice and relaxing few days. Great location for hiking tours and trips to the Bavarian Forest. Nice, clean rooms with a small kitchenette, great view from the balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We felt very comfortable and will come back.

Spent 5 wonderful days of vacation at the Hotel Tannenhof.
The employees were all friendly and were available to help with any questions.
The half board left nothing to be desired.
There was something for every taste.
We were able to safely store the e-bikes we brought with us and charge them free of charge.
Thanks to the nice team, we'll be happy to come back.

Very nice Hotel in a quiet location on the forest. Directly from the house beautiful Hiking trails go. Rooms look to the forest are big enough and are cleaned daily very well. Staff very friendly ? Breakfast very plentiful. Dinner class you can choose between several dishes. Getränkek prices OK. Wellness is very generous and, above all, long Hours. The Hotel is an optimal price - performance ratio. Happy again!

Great Hotel in a beautiful quiet location right on the edge of the forest. In spite of the size very informal and well managed. There are many excursion possibilities, a large swimming pool, a Sauna, and free bicycles. Tennis courts are available close by. We particularly recommend the excellent food and all at a very good price-performance ratio. Absolute Recommendation!

A very nice country hotel where we were warmly welcomed. Very clean, very friendly staff and a nice wellness area. The hygiene concept was implemented very well and nothing was missing. The food was also very good, since we had booked a week, we also got an excellent 5-course surprise menu. Kudos to the kitchen! There is a large parking lot.
Our room faced the forest and the peace and quiet is indescribable, pure relaxation.
The price-performance ratio fits.
