Where to stay in Lubbenau

Friendly receptionist who spoke English and made me feel welcome.

Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking €3 per night. Fast electric car chargers 1 minute away. Very clean rooms and good beds and shower. Nice little bar in the foyer. Close to the motorway but far enough away so you don’t hear any traffic.

The hotel is okay. Breakfast is okay, but nothing special. Standard fare. The parking lot would be large enough if they paid attention to how people park. I stayed for two days and returned late, and on both days I couldn't park properly, risking damage to my car and squeezing in so tightly I could barely get out. Clean rooms, nicely furnished. Excellent access to the highway, not far from the city, with a McDonald's and gas station right next door. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly at check-out.

Everything was basically fine, but the food wasn't really to my taste.

Very little English speaking staff at front desk. Changes in lobby bar hours/services with no warning. They had no shampoo/conditioner in room but had shower caps despite no shower in room. Reserved a queen bed room and given a loft with spiral steps to bedroom on second floor, not mentioned I reservation. Loft warm with only a small window and fan for ventilation.

FRC70 It was a very nice stay, staff very friendly. Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. The only big negative was that my wife and myself wanted to use the spa and have a massage, as advertised on the website. But we were told it doesn’t open during the summer!😞

Very old and historic location. Rooms are large and modern but still with historic touch. Some rooms are in higher floors without elevator so if you can't climb, make sure to request rooms on the ground floor

A short vacation in a castle (even if 'just' in the stables) is something special. Nice, quiet location and yet only a few minutes into the city. Criticism: The boat trip offered by the hotel is more than twice as expensive as at the port.

We had a splendid stay here. Two Alaskans traveling in Germany. The hotel and in fact the whole town is not geared for American tourists. But that's okay, everyone we met was friendly and helpful and tolerated are very limited German. We ate several outstanding meals at the gasthaus attached to the hotel. Very nice stay. The only bad thing was the noise from the trains during the night. We had to keep our windows open as it was some warm nights. Nice city. We went to the harbours of Lubbenau, to a museum with cars from the old east block and to the Spreewald Therme. All places we will recommend!

Beautiful property, the owner greeted us and the check in was easy, great customer service, the food at the restaurant was delicious, very quite and peaceful place. Clean and comfortable. I will stay again. Easy parking on property, very spacious rooms.

Ok stay Had a one night stay as we were driving through the area. Cons: No AC in the room, and it was WARM. Old and rock hard beds. Rooms were very loud, and i could hear my neightbour snoring just as well as i heard the traffic from the autobahn. Breakfast was ok. There are place to improve, but wifi was fine

Ideal situation very close to autobahn. We used it to stop over on our way to and from Praha. The rooms were satisfactory and the price was acceptable. The breakfast was abundant and the choice of dinner courses satisfactory. We will certainly return, if we find ourselves in this part of Germany again.
