Spacious rooms in a style that matches the building'sstyle, good evening meal with a tasty vegan option, but a good idea to book in advance even if you are a guest. Parking available on site.

Very little English speaking staff at front desk. Changes in lobby bar hours/services with no warning. They had no shampoo/conditioner in room but had shower caps despite no shower in room. Reserved a queen bed room and given a loft with spiral steps to bedroom on second floor, not mentioned I reservation. Loft warm with only a small window and fan for ventilation.

It was a very nice stay, staff very friendly. Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. The only big negative was that my wife and myself wanted to use the spa and have a massage, as advertised on the website. But we were told it doesn’t open during the summer!😞

Very old and historic location. Rooms are large and modern but still with historic touch.
Some rooms are in higher floors without elevator so if you can't climb, make sure to request rooms on the ground floor

A short vacation in a castle (even if 'just' in the stables) is something special. Nice, quiet location and yet only a few minutes into the city.
Criticism: The boat trip offered by the hotel is more than twice as expensive as at the port.

I was guest for a day in the Orangerie. There's a very great park, great service and great atmosphere!

Beautiful, quiet area. Pickles, canals, food and fresh air. Great breakfast buffet!

Not a 4 star experience. No room service. Restaurant unavailable (fully booked). Sauna also requires booking (the only available time was during dinner - and all restaurants in the town close at 9pm). We had to order Dominos Pizza for dinner. Sauna also costs extra per guest to use. Only water in the minibar. No spare pillows. No slippers or gown provided. My partner's mattress was concave causing her back pain (first time for her in any hotel; my mattress was fine). Other than that: generally good service. Beautiful grounds and facilities. Well decorated rooms. Good breakfast with healthy options and comphrensive coffee choices.
