I am 80% disabled and use a wheelchair to get around. I found the hotel very wheelchair unfriendly. The lifts cannot be used as they are too small. Our room was fitted with a normal height bath which made getting in and out almost impossible. We were on a trip with 10 person, 5 couples and could not sit together for breakfast. Had we of been our original 13 we would not of been able to sit together in the bar due to some made up rule. The breakfast was good, except we could not sit together. The menu card for dinner is varied but very, very expensive for what you receive in quality. We tended to gather for dinner at the Deutsce Haus restaurant in Lübbenau where the food was of top quality and very reasonably priced. All in all I give Schloss Hotel Lübbenau 3/5 stars but would not rebook.

Stayed here on a solo trip and enjoyed every bit of what the castle and the space had to offer. The food at the restaurant was excellent! The staff were lovely and I also wished I were here with some of my friends who would appreciate it all.

The Schlosshotel is a great spot to explore Lübbenau. It might need a tiny refreshment, but the buildings and the park are beautiful and offer a insight into the glorious past of the town. Above all, the employees are very very nice and helpful. I want to thank them here.

Spacious rooms in a style that matches the building'sstyle, good evening meal with a tasty vegan option, but a good idea to book in advance even if you are a guest. Parking available on site.

Very little English speaking staff at front desk. Changes in lobby bar hours/services with no warning. They had no shampoo/conditioner in room but had shower caps despite no shower in room. Reserved a queen bed room and given a loft with spiral steps to bedroom on second floor, not mentioned I reservation. Loft warm with only a small window and fan for ventilation.

It was a very nice stay, staff very friendly. Hotel could do with a bit of modernisation. The only big negative was that my wife and myself wanted to use the spa and have a massage, as advertised on the website. But we were told it doesn’t open during the summer!😞

A lovely experience! The room (in the old fachwerkgebäude) was wonderfully spacious, and the garden exuded charm—a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of tea. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it's an impeccable choice for a romantic retreat or family getaway.
P.S. It would have been helpful if the lady at check-in provided more information or briefly mentioned the tablet available for exploring details about the hotel and its surroundings.

Very old and historic location. Rooms are large and modern but still with historic touch.
Some rooms are in higher floors without elevator so if you can't climb, make sure to request rooms on the ground floor

Spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Bathroom was a little on the small side, but clean and functional.
Views and surroundings were fantastic, staff very nice.
