Loved the ample space to work in downstairs. And they make coffee too!
There are many transport options around, though there are cooler areas to hang out in. The WC and shower are very tiny, but the Dre’s a bigger bathroom in the corridor and the dorm itself is spacious. Loved the ease of the paid lockers too

I'm glad I ignored the bad reviews because the place is pretty good for the price.
Yes, bathrooms are small and the room is basic but the beds are comfortable and considering the central location and busy flow of hotel guests it was very quiet and we slept well.
The area can be a bit scary, but it was well policed and the station is basically on th doorstep which helps.

Very nice Hostel, had a great stay! The woman named Samarah at the front desk was the best. Super friendly :) all in all a lovely stay

This hostel felt suuuper grimy, just kinda nasty. Every part of the hostel had a different bad smell. The en suite bathrooms were also tiny, like smaller than an airport bathroom. When you bend over to spit toothpaste in the sink or to wash your face your butt hits the wall. There are additional bathrooms outside of the dorm, but on our floor there was only one per gender meaning it was sometimes occupied. Also no curtains and the lockers are super loud, meaning getting a good night’s sleep was tough.
Pros: lowish price point. The location is nice because you are super close to central station (and public transport options). But also note that its proximity to central station also makes it a bit sketchy. It’s not the nicest part of town.

Location is superb, just opposite side of Central Station. The surrounding may seem a bit intimidating but I had no problem when arrived a bit late in the evening for check in. They had renovation going on and upgraded to private room at no extra cost. Room was fine for a solo traveller, but if a couple, it could have been a tad small. Pharmacy is on the opposite side (which I needed), Penny supermarket is close by. So is the bus and tram stops. Staffs at reception really nice and helpful. Would stay again if visit Hamburg.

The bathroom in the room is very small. The bed is no curtain. so no private. There is small locker that can keep some stuffs.

The neighborhood near the train station was quite chaotic, with people shouting downstairs. It felt genuinely unsafe after dark. Waiting for the elevator took forever. To borrow a hairdryer, you needed to leave your passport as collateral, and even then, they didn't have any available. The toilet and shower cubicle were incredibly small! The design of the countertop around the sink was so impractical; seriously, how are you supposed to brush your teeth?
