It was a perfect stay for me. The best features of the hotel : location, delicious food, friendly staff and cleanliness of the hotel. By the way, we had to leave the hotel before the start of breakfast since we had to catch our flight. Because of that reason, they prepared a package of food for me and my colleague. A small hot room. Behind the building, one room, the window faces the road. There is always the sound of cars running. The exhaust fan is noisy. The internet is not good. Breakfast and service staff are excellent.

A fab hotel. We stayed in the Residence across the road from the main hotel with a large group of like minded Aston owners. The hotel was ideally situated for our tour and all the visits in the area with ample parking underground and above ground. The hotel room was large and well equipped with a large shower room. The only down side were the automatic sensor lights under the side tables which lit up the room during the night when one of us needed a visit to the bathroom and the bathroom had a sensor that lit it up. It was daylight, so we had to cover each with a pillow. Not a well thought out idea. However, everything else was superb. The breakfast was a buffet with someone cooking omelettes to order. It had a full selection of cold meats, cheeses, fish, breads, croissants as well as bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes etc… The staff throughout our stay were friendly, efficient and very helpful. We would definitely return and would highly recommend

Very nice and attractive from the outside and in the lobby area. The professional and very friendly staff deserves special mention. The same is true in the adjoining restaurant. Very attentive staff who know their job. Breakfast is also served in the restaurant, hence part of this review. The downside: the room, which is significantly overpriced at €135 per night without breakfast. 40cm to walk on either side of the bed, very poor soundproofing from the neighboring room. I woke up and thought my wife had already taken a shower, but she was from the next room. The furniture was still good, but of simple quality and in the style of the 80s. If it weren't for the good staff and the good breakfast, it wouldn't be 4 points.

This hotel was way above its 4**** Rating--it would be 4* if air condition was provided. Good taste with interior design, rooms high-end, good ambience, good bar with friendly staff, good service and 'feeling'.

Good hotel, good roomy rooms. Good breakfast. Beds are a little less, hence the 4 stars. Also disappointed in the TV channels they offer. No Dutch channels, even tho it isn't too far off the Dutch border.

We were here for the wedding of some friends a couple of weeks ago.

The place is definetely beautiful. The room were the party took place was big and nice decorated.

The staff was very nice and helpful.

However, the food was not good. It was more something you would find in a 2-star hotel.

This is a charming hotel in the middle of the small Aurich. Confortable enough, but expensive for a place without bath. Service was lovely and breakfast ok.

The hotel is a quiet nice place with several places to have a rest, restaurant, and other activities. Due to the present coronavirus, fewer places are available around the city. The historical museum, the gardens closer to the castle, the Port make a wonderful day out.
