Hotel Pension am Kurmittelhaus in Bad Grund

I was actually interested in this hotel because of the many good reviews and wanted to book it. That's precisely why I was so shocked by the disrespectful and arrogant way I was treated even before we arrived.

I called ahead with a simple question and clearly explained the situation: My mother was going to stay in the room from 2 pm until midnight to look after my baby while we were at a wedding across the street. I only wanted to stop by briefly to breastfeed.

The reaction, however, was anything but welcoming: curt, dismissive, and immediately followed by the comment, "But the room isn't for three people." When I made it clear that only my mother and the baby would be there, the evasive and condescending explanation was that they had "had bad experiences because several people ended up staying there." This explanation is completely absurd – because theoretically, someone else could stay overnight in any hotel room, regardless of whether it's booked for one or more people. The risk always exists and is no excuse to condemn guests in advance.

If you're treated with such disrespect and suspicion even before booking, I'll save my money on another hotel. Despite the many good reviews, I can only strongly advise against it – this is not what hospitality should look like.

No microwave oven to use, the female owner dogmatic attitude I have to eat in the restaurant opposite. Witchy sleepy areas
