I enjoyed my stay here. It is in a convenient, quiet neighborhood, and it’s easy to walk to attractions in Eisenach and to the bus stop for Wartburg castle. I love to stay in family-owned hotels like this one rather than the bigger businesses; it helps make for good memories of my trip. The owner is very kind and works hard to ensure her guests are comfortable. There was a guest book in the room too, a nice touch!

I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off.
It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there.

That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small.
I didn’t see any temperature control in the room, but it wasn’t too hot or too cold.
The host/owner was kind and helpful. The place had a lot of character to it that made it charming.

When I went to plug in my phone charger on the side of my bed, that’s when I noticed a lot of dust-bunnies. It could probably use a deep clean, but it was fine for one night.

Great find
We had a very pleasant stay in Eisenach at Pension Mahrets.
Anna was very helpful, showed us around and gave recommendation about the town.
Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed in the family unit with two small bedrooms/lounge with a bed sharing our own spacious bathroom.
The host was very friendly and welcoming.
We didn't use the breakfast option.
We enjoyed our stay.

Warm welcome. Very friendly. Spotless accommodation. Perfect situation. Peaceful. Close to everything. 5 minutes walk to centre of the town. As Coeliac very helpful to me with breakfast choices. Would stay again for sure.
