We arrived at this hotel by chance, due to some troubles with my, car I had to book in a rush and overnight three nights. During my stay I discovered such a pleasant hotel with a lovely and well equipped swimming pool, sauna, and possibility for walks in the closest woods. There's an excellent restaurant as well for eating and tasting local food. The owners are really helpful and kind, they helped...

Very friendly family run hotel. This is a good place for excursions in the area. The hotel is clean and well kept, the food is good and there is a swimming pool. Most of all I would like to point out that the service from the management and staff is on a different level. They all went out of their way to help us with some travel challenges.

Perfect hotel. Not really near the citycentre. I stayed there because we made several motortrips in the Harz. We have had also diners in the hotel and of course breakfast. These meals where good. There is also a swimming. We had a fine time in this hotel 😀.

Very pleasant hotel on the edge of town with very much a "seventies" feel. Spotlessly clean although the accomodation was not the most modern but very functional. Unfortunately the restaurant was not open during our stay but breakfast was very good and generous. Very friendly and helpful reception.

I was there for dinner with colleges. The meal was good. We had to wait pretty long for it although there weren't many other guests.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having an adjoining room. The hotel was centrally located and would be a great choice for those exploring the parks.

We felt very comfortable here for 4 nights. We can only endorse the predominantly positive recessions. We are both disabled, got a room on the ground floor and could park the car right in front of the front door. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was perfect, thank you!

My stay at naturkost hotel was very inspiring. I didn’t know raw (vegan) food could be this tasty and provide so much energy. Very nice hotel! The rooms are big and super clean. The breakfast is super nice lots of options, fresh food and very nice staff. We arrived late and they had prepared everything to make our arrival smooth and easy despite the reception being closed.

Top location in the centre of Clausthal. Every target in old Clausthal can be reached on foot. Even Zellerfeld is not too far, but uphill. The hotel room is first class albeit the street noise is heard. Breakfast was super. I can only recommend this hotel.

The beds were comfortable, quiet, everything clean, great breakfast, nice surroundings and walks around, the lady taking care of us was very nice, though did only speak german to us but we manage somehow.

The hotel is kind of old and the included food was not great. Breakfast buffet better than the dinner. Only internet in the lobby and nearly no data service on my phone - not the hotel's fault, but the combination leaves you nearly cut off from the outside world. My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

We spent our short break in the Harz Mountains here. The owner gave us a friendly welcome and was always up for a chat. We really liked this hotel. We had a nice room with a balcony, and there is a lift. Food was very good, served in a 4th floor restaurant. There was a hot buffet every night we were there, which was very good value. Breakfast was also good. There is a pool in the basement, and a lovely garden. Staff were helpful. Plenty of free parking. Absolutely recommended for a holiday in the you a lot to experience, was previously in 4 different rooms and all of the Top. The bathrooms will be renovated, so I've gotten this year, an old familiar, but new rooms / bathroom. Some of the bathrooms is a little too small but you do not want to spend his day. We stayed overnight here as visitors to spa guests. The rooms are okay, but with emergency call buttons everywhere, they're not really hotel rooms. Everything was clean and generally fine, however, I would expect at least a makeup mirror in the bathroom and dinner from 6 to 7 pm in a four-star hotel. We stayed at the hotel as a group of girls. After some initial "grinding difficulties," everything was resolved to our satisfaction.
