This is a strange place! the hospitality is great and welcome. The elevator is creepy and some of the rooms are not as you might expect. as for the breakfast it is nice and reach and good. Because of the structure of the hotel you may get lost between the rooms.

Very pleasant hotel on the edge of town with very much a "seventies" feel. Spotlessly clean although the accomodation was not the most modern but very functional. I was there for dinner with colleges. The meal was good. We had to wait pretty long for it although there weren't many other guests.

The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having an adjoining room. The hotel was centrally located and would be a great choice for those exploring the parks.

The Hotel is a very sweet, the owners are very polite and doing their absolute best so that you have the best possible stay you could have. They do have a garage for your bike if needed and they are happy to help you around. They do speak a couple of languages so you should not have any problem talking to them. I'll stay there again if I visit Clausthal Zellerfeld again.

My wife and I have visited this hotel twice in 7 years and we were very satisfied each time 😁. The service is good, the food is delicious and includes a good selection (half board). The rooms are nicely furnished, the beds are good - everything you need for a (short) vacation. Only the Harz itself has significantly fewer trees 🌲😕. Recommendation 👍👍

Spent a week there with the whole family, and was won over on the first day. Friendly family atmosphere throughout the hotel, quiet location and spacious, cozy rooms. A huge plus point was the large wellness area with pool and two saunas, which with its relaxation room is perfect for relaxing after hiking.
