Pension Bertha was a great place to stay while visiting Jena. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. It had a large bathroom as well. The staff were very helpful.
It's nicely located, my room and bathroom were spacious yet warm. The stuff was really helpful. The only minus I can point to is pillows. As for me, they were too big and stiff. But overall I enjoyed my stay!
The room was beautiful and clean, bathroom was super clean. Amazing experience and also good location - it is close to the city center and you can take the walk around all the town. Also a lot of bars and restaurants are nearby so we had full experience.
Amazing weekend getaway. All stuff and the owner were nice and on the service all the time.

I visit Jena from time to time for many years and Bertha became my favorite pension/hotel to stay in Jena . First, "location, location, location". Pension is conveniently located next to Jena West train station, but close to the city center. Second, comfort of staying. Rooms are large and clean, place is calm, service is great. Third, price. I certainly happy to pay the price I paid for this excellent service. Recommend.
