Where to stay in Celle

Breakfast was nothing special. Scrambled eggs dry, omelette made to order was a bit better. Some cold cuts etc. Rooms specious and clean but bathroom not properly cleaned. Long hairs in the sink and toilet not really clean. First night we were told there was probably no availability (but no one actually checked!) in the restaurant until much later and then we proceeded to look at it through the window...

Well placed for exploring Celle Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very close to the town Center - so as a hotel from which to explore Celle, it was great. We were in the original building (16th century), as opposed to the modern extension. The ceilings were very low, and there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom.

Every year we book overnight stays at this hotel for Easter and Christmas.

It was great, delicious, friendly and cozy, we will definitely come back!

In a small town, this price has no advantage.

Really good place to stay, I enjoyed the nice spa and the marvelous 3-course dinner afterwards. Easily of one the best places I’ve stayed at during my trips by car, through Germany.😊

Nice relaxing place to stay Lovely hotel a little far out of Celle so nothing apart from One restaurant within walking distance. Taxi ride 15€ into Center where there are many cars etc. Great pool and spa

Very nice and comfortable hotel in the North of Germany. I spent 1 night and also had a dinner in a private room having a very good food and wine.. Amenities in the room, room very silent and comfortable... Price breakfast included is no expensive compared with other hotels I've been in the same area. Parking in the hotel, important in case you go by car... I recommend...

We stayed here while in town for our wedding during COVID. I would highly recommend this hotel, they were extremely responsive, took care with COVID measures, and allowed us to have a relaxing safe and enjoyable wedding weekend. The family Schnapps was just an added bonus to a wonderful stay. Highly recommend if your in the area.

The main problem with this hotel was the lack of parking spaces. Apart from this, the hotel is nice and comfortable and not too far from the main town area of Celle.

3 star stay! Overall expetience was good. Check in was easy, but the bathroom was dirty with hairs all over the floor when I got there. Reception made sure I could have another room as they said it was too late to get someone to clean. The second room was clean - rooms overall are basic but clean. Stayed here for 2 weeks due to work, OK stay but the room I had was not clean. Spiderweb in the roofs and it smells sewer in the bathroom. Had to move the bed, because I lost something under it. It was clearly many moths since it was cleaned there.

This is a relatively small hotel near the city centre. The owner and members of the staff are very helpful and make you feel at home. With a very clean room and bathroom and an excellent breakfast, this is the place to stay when visiting the beautiful city of Celle

This was a fine hotel. It is dated and not in a very pleasant or picturesque location. The breakfast was just okay everything served, however, was room temperature (scrambled eggs, milk, and yogurt all the same temperature). It also had minimal variety compared the other hotel breakfasts we have had that have been the same price. The rooms are from the 70's and lack hot water maker let alone outlets...

Check the hotels services b4 booking I would be appropriate to inform of the restaurants opening hours as our booking was done due to the fact that it was a restaurant at site. But it turned out that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and that was the night of our stay!

Amazing breakfast, fresh and a good selection. We stayed at the apartment that was of a decent size for a family of four. Outside is a relaxing garden with a few swings for the kids. Friendly staff. A bit off from the old center town, takes about 20 minutes to walk.

The Hotel was very nice and everyone was friendly. The only thing that bugged me was that the cleaning personel didnt knock before coming into the room to clean. Other then that, it was very good.

Immaculate presentation, helpful and friendly staff. It was a warm evening and after a long journey it was a delight just to be able to sit and relax in the garden. Breakfast generous and of high quality.

A good value for money. The yard is nice for sitting outside on a warm evening, having a drink or a bite. Clean rooms, good shower, no air conditioning. The old town is a 20-minute walk away. There is a good supermarket (Combi) almost next door.

The property was well situated outside Celle, quiet and perfect for dog walking. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, so many varieties of good food and more than enough. A huge plus and value for money.

Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is good, it's easy to get to Celle, but it's nice and quiet on the side street. The double room is just the right size for two people. Rooms and bathrooms are super clean and well maintained. The breakfast is incredibly extensive and delicious. The reception is nice and warm.
