Hotel-Restaurant Goldener Adler in Emden

I stayed at this hotel for six days and overall it was a very good and satisfying experience. The price is reasonable and offers good value for money.

The restaurant and kitchen are excellent. I tried the curry chicken and it was very tasty. The burgers are high quality and generously sized, and the fish dishes were fresh and delicious. On Friday night, they also offered a dinner buffet with a nice selection of very good food.

The beverage and beer selection is great, and the hotel staff are very friendly, helpful, and proactive. My room was spacious and clean, and it even had a work desk. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent.
There were only two minor downsides: there is no elevator, and there is no fully automatic coffee machine, coffee is served from a thermos.

The location is good and convenient within the city, but the parking area is outdoors and has limited spaces.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We celebrated my wife's 65th birthday in a separate room in the restaurant with family, friends and neighbors. The team had prepared everything very festively and served the 40 or so people wonderfully and professionally - simply excellent service! The atmosphere in the newly designed room was just perfect and helped make the celebration an unforgettable experience. The food and drinks were delicious and were praised by all the guests. We were also very impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. It was a pleasure to enjoy the celebration at the Goldener Adler. The team at the Goldener Adler played a key role in making the birthday a complete success. We are already looking forward to the next visit and the next celebration!

It was so nice there that we would go back anytime. The staff were so friendly and attentive, it was a dream. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the restaurant, there is so much to discover.... The food was sooooo delicious and the breakfast, bomb, keep up the good work.....

Had breakfast "Kaffee und Kuche" here whilst on a bus trip from the Dutch company "Paulusma Reizen". Was very satisfied with the food and drinks, service was great and restroom usage was free, very clean building and great staff.

One really good traditional hotel and restaurant in Emden. Food was really good. Room was big and clean. Breakfast good and generous. Nice staff . Recommend it if u stay in Emden.
