All okay, price worth for business trip!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. A "Caution: Construction Site" sign would have been helpful. The interior is very outdated and worn.

This hotel is unintentionally creepy...there's a gruesome wax figure in the entrance - I screamed out loud in shock when I walked in. The furniture isn't period-appropriate and leaves a somewhat creepy impression. We spent one night there as a group and all had a bad feeling. The entrance door was locked (even though the reception is staffed) and there's a sign on the doorbell that says "broken" - so we had to knock loudly to get attention. My room was clean, but many things were broken and some had been poorly "repaired." The rooms were extremely thin on sound (I could hear guests peeing above me). There were probably at least eight Wi-Fi connections, none of which worked. The fire alarms in our rooms had been removed - one of the two emergency exits was locked, so you'd need a key to leave the building in an emergency. The bathroom was so old - everything seemed like it hadn't been renovated since the 70s. The doorstop was simply taped to the wall, and old plastic parts from previous soap dispensers were still hanging broken on the wall. The shower had very little water pressure. In the dining room, 80% of the lightbulbs didn't work, leaving you sitting in the dark. The entrance is littered with dusty, old-fashioned knick-knacks, figurines, plates, and plastic flowers. And then I was told on the phone that my single room cost €56. The bill surprised me: €65. My colleagues paid up to €90 for a single room per night. That's really not something you can ask for for such amenities.
Breakfast is inexpensive, but only has a small selection (the cold cuts are almost exclusively sausage, and there were no vegetables at all). Adjacent to the breakfast room, the staff smoke on the winter garden balcony during mealtimes. A quick glance into the garden revealed trash and unkempt plants.
The staff was reasonably friendly, but also a bit "creepy."
If my employer hadn't paid, I would have simply refused to stay there and checked in elsewhere.

The hotel "Zum Stresemann" is located somewhat decentralized in the industrial area - the bus stop is nearby. The reception was friendly and helpful - the suitcase was brought to the room. Despite the narrow, old elevator, the hotel is not barrier-free due to the stairs and many carpets at both the main entrance and the night/side entrance. Room 10A was noisy, you could not only hear people walking past the door but also the music (not just the bass) from the next room. The furnishings in the spacious room and bathroom are clearly showing their age. The TV didn't work. All the time information in the room was wrong, whether on the TV or telephone, which was very irritating and misleading. There is a free parking lot. The WiFi worked reliably. I still can't understand the three stars for this hotel. The construction site right in front of the hotel not only made access difficult but could also be heard well in the morning, so sleeping in was out of the question. I can't say anything about breakfast because I didn't book one. The price-performance ratio was not suitable despite the low price.
