Reviews
The kettle and coffee/tea were stored inside the wardrobe, and we only noticed them when checking out — a small sign or note would’ve been helpful. The shower had only a half-glass panel, so water splashed out easily. Also, the bathtub didn’t have a non-slip mat, so it might not be ideal for older guests.
It’s a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need to drive or take public transport. On the bright side, free parking is available, which is very convenient.
The breakfast was nice — simple, classic German-style with everything you’d expect.
The service was good and the staff very friendly, but the room decoration must have been done 20 years ago. The bed was very hard and I could hear sirens from a near by hospital. The dinner at the restaurant was below par, but the staff was helpful to pack food for take away. The breakfast was below par as well. I guess I got what I paid for
Excellent value! We came for a stopover on a longer journey, and we really liked the convenience of the hotel with a nice restaurant and relaxed atmosphere. The service was also excellent and very attentive.
Nice clean spacious room. Friendly staff. Free parking. Good Italian restaurant next door.
But what could make it a 4 star is missing. You will have no air conditioning in your room, the coffee machine is well hidden in the closet so you don’t find it, the wifi is super slow, the breakfast is not as good as many comments would suggest. It’s just a very standard breakfast and many items are missing, such as croissants for example.
For me is minus 1 star for the missing air con, minus 1 star for the medium breakfast and another minus 1 star because I’m platinum member of BW, I asked the staff to add this reservation to my account but they didn’t. How uncool. I won’t come back
