After an exhausting day of cycling I got a warm welcome, a garage to park my bike and a nice room.
Certainly the water temperature is not too consistent but always warm or cold. The beds were very light single beds that slipped away from each other easily, at least in my room, there might be others.
Decent breakfast, enjoyed it.

This first time was an overnight stay only. We'll certainly come back. Excellent host and service.

We spent one night at this hotel and were very pleased. We received a warm welcome and received excellent tips for our bike tour upon departure. Our room was a decent size, and the bathroom even had a bathtub. The rooms were rather rustic overall, but overall it was very comfortable. The breakfast was modest but perfectly adequate for us. We were able to lock our bikes in a nearby garage. In short: friendly, cozy, and rustic... we would gladly stay here again.

Small hotel almost in the center of Hitzacker (2 min walk). It is a small hotel with everything you need for a short business stay. Okay, there is free WiFi, but in the room where I stayed, the signal was quite weak. That can be frustrating, if you want to work there and need a good connection. The rooms are a bit rustic and the bathroom is okay, although that shower curtain needs some work. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is also complete but basic. Although I did miss a regular wheat sandwich and a slice of fried bacon. The staff is extremely friendly. In the same building is also Janemanns Restaurant, but that is only open Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon.

We got a room with a terrace. So we could sit there with our friends. The breakfast was rather average. If it hadn't been for the other, somewhat larger group of cyclists who made themselves sandwiches for breakfast to last the whole day, we might have gotten some sausage or cheese. In any case, they didn't refill it. It's an advantage for cyclists that there is a garage where bikes or e-bikes can be locked up.

Small family hotel in a quaint little town in Niedersachsen. Super friendly owners and staff. Really comfortable, firm beds and quirky rooms. Elegant dining room and very good breakfast. Ten minutes walk to the Elbeufer. Perfect, just perfect.

Stayed there 2 nights. The room was large and fresh. No AC but you could open several windows so the room was cool at night. The breakfast was simple but quite ok. Very friendly staff.

Authentic, cozy and family small hotel. The hotel's restaurant Janemanns Restaurant can only be recommended. The quality of the ingredients is exquisite, super delicious servings and the portions are plenty large. Here too, there is a wonderful family atmosphere.
