Where to stay in Luneburg

A good and central place to be in Lüneburg. I attended a work function and was very happy with the accommodation and service I received at Seminaris. Breakfast was also great!

Considerable difficulties checking in despite a reservation...this was only resolved after some hassle. Otherwise, everything was OK. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant service was excellent.

I booked a hotel for my colleague at the company. There was an exhibition in Dongbudong, Germany. We needed to book in advance, otherwise the price would skyrocket.

Location is very confinient to the central downtown ,hotel staff are helpfull and pleasant. Breakfast menu is great.

The entire stay was absolutely lovely. We had incredible breakfasts and the staff was excellent.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good, but unfortunately there was no means to cool the room in the heat of 29-31 degrees, not even a fan.

Great hotel in Adendorf, one of the northern outskirts of Lüneburg. The room I had was spacious, well equipped, and very clean. Did neither use the spa area nor the restaurant for dinner. Therefore, I cannot not comment on this. The breakfast was standard. Bottomline is a very good hotel to stay if usage of the spa area is planned. For just an overnight stay is the price I paid too high.

I stayed here for 3 nights as I was attending some meetings nearby. The breakfast was good and I ate at the restaurant in the hotel 2 of the 3 nights. Stayed for one night on my way through Germany. I don't play golf so can't comment on that. Also has a pool and gymnasium. Large car park. Room was nice, breakfast good, had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good. No problems.

4 STAR LEVEL NOT MET!!!!!!We spent one night at this hotel and the problems started before we checked in as no parking was available at EV charger out front so they sent us into both garages to look for more charge points that were not found either. The hotel from the show Rote Rosen. We had a great time (410) room with a beautiful view of the old town. Great breakfast. We played cards in the evening out on the deck connected to the bar. Close to the old town, everything in walking distance. Bed a bit soft.

The service was good. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, our rooms were a bit dated and definitely need a makeover. The location is phenomenal and perfect for getting right into the beautiful city.

I stayed at the Altes Kaufhaus for 2 nights whilst travelling aboard for work. The hotel was only a short 10 minute walk from the station and was very central to the pubs and restaurants. The rooms were excellent and very clean, would happily stay again.

We really loved our stay here. The check-in and check-out were smooth. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The free mini-bar was a nice surprise :) I had a work call during our stay, and the wifi worked wonderully throughout the meeting. Would have loved to stay longer than just one night!

Beautiful hotel in the very centre of Lüneburg. I was in town to provide a lecture at Leuphana University. The hotel is situated right in the middle of town, not far from the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, and even have a dining table. There is a steam sauna and a gym available to the guests free of charge. The gym's exercise machines do need some maintanence, though....

We had no hot water and even though they had had this problem for a few days at the hotel they didnt bother to tell us when checking in.

Great location, food, service, staff, room, and amenities. We had a large, beautiful room with a bathtub and five free drinks in the minibar. The breakfast was also great. We were also able to check in early and store our luggage there for free all day after checkout. This was a huge help, as we weren't leaving until the evening. The staff was very friendly.

My girlfriend and I spent three days in this beautiful property 4 weeks ago. We stayed in the guest house in two double rooms. Centre of things. Could not be better located. Has a small underground garage otherwise you will have to park some 500m away and walk. Old building , modernised, clean, comfortable beds. Shower AND bath en suite. Air conditioner unit in room. breakfast does not break the bank. Perfect place for a couple of nights to explore the town.

Tiny room. No amenities except 3 paper cups and towels

The hotel is located right next to the rail line, so it gets quite noisy early in the morning. The room we stayed in had a carpet with a musty smell on the first night, but it was fine the second night after the cleaning staff left the window open. Breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of cheeses and cold cuts. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel was a very good experience. The parking is "reserved" and safe, the hotel and the room felt clean and fresh. We didn't have breakfast, but we actually regretted it because it was a very good deal. Very satisfied also with the location, walking close to the center. We would definitely love to return to Luneburg and this hotel would definitely be our choice again.

The room is clean and tidy, although slightly small but well-equipped. The front desk was very friendly and allowed me to check in a little early. The location is excellent. It's a 5-minute walk from the train station and the main attractions are within walking distance. It feels very safe to walk back after dinner. Great value for money!
