Location, Location, Location! This hotel is located central in the heart of the city. We arrived with the train and after approx. 12 minutes walk we reached the hotel. The staff, mainly students, were very attentive and friendly. Room furniture a bit dated but that’s kind of charming. It was clean, breakfast had all the necessities and a very good “Filter” coffee! The Kutscherstuben Hotel not only met but exceeded our expectation. A big Thank You to all who made our stay so enjoyable.

Good location, nice staff, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was nice too. My only complaint was that the signage is misleading - you have to enter through the doorway marked "Hotel Garni" and we had to call the front desk to have them come let us inside.

Not up to standard
The actual hotel name is Hotel Garni, next door to Kutscherstube restaurant. Booked and pre paid for a room with King Bed. The room provided had 2 singles in separate rooms. When I queried I was advised the other room was taken.

Place not secure, management not responsible
My suitcase handed for storage was left on the corridor rather than in a locked luggage room. Hotel was burgled, my suitcase stolen. Since 08.08. no response, apology or recompensation to my written complaints.
So not recommended for security reasons and lack of care for guests.

I handed my suitcase for storage, but instead of locking it safely into a luggage room, it was left on the corridor. Hotel was burgled over night, my suitcase stolen. No response whatsoever responding to my written complaints since 08.08., no excuse or recompensation. Hotel not to be recommended, due to security and duty of care reasons.

Good Hotel.
Very good hotel exceptional staff great location good room good chracter building rooms spotless nice old German chracter. Restaurants very close very near to railway station and taxi's in close proximity.

Good location. Old building but modernised, clean room and comfortable beds. A nice place for a stay to explore the town of Lüneburg. A very friendly staff and well worth an overnight stay.
