Seehotel Schloss Klink in Klink

My friend and I wanted to eat something at 8 p.m. We weren't greeted upon entering....not even greeted back, in fact....We were told there was an order for 20 people but they weren't in the restaurant. we felt unwelcome. I won't find out whether it was simply that the employees didn't feel like it anymore at 8 p.m. or that we weren't welcome there. but the 20 people didn't come

We went to eat at Gutshaus having been there two years ago and very happy with the food we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. We opted for the daily menu for two, most of it was burned. Why does a Bürgerbrötchen have to be black on top, is it so expensive that you can't get a new one??? The pullpork had apparently also been forgotten during the warm-up. Even when we pointed this out to the waitress, there wasn't even an apology, they were just angry because the tip didn't match. I don't know how the hotel got three stars, we decided not to eat there anymore.

On our last day of vacation we chose this restaurant to have dinner there. Our expectations were far exceeded in every respect. First you get the menu and a small piece of paper on which you have to tick your chosen dishes. In addition, there is the note that the drink order is recorded separately. So far so good, we ordered drinks and checked our food preferences, and as guests who were untrained and inexperienced in this restaurant, the first mistake had crept in, as it turned out after about an hour. In the middle of waiting for the ordered food, unfortunately my glass was empty. This was noticed promptly by the attentive service and it was removed from the table without a word. Quick-witted, I was able to call out that it could be something new, which was then placed on the table without a word by the other waiter. After about 50 minutes, the ordered dishes came to the table, first the two main courses and a few minutes later the salad was added. But that was the first thing we expected and asked the waitress about it. Now it was the turn of the guest training! We should have said that in advance and how is she supposed to know... Well, I prefer it if I can speak to the waitress when ordering food, you can usually rule out misunderstandings and it would have been very useful if if the waitress had taken a look at it when picking up the order slip and perhaps noticed something when 2 people at the table order 3 dishes. We had to hurry to eat the food because we were sitting at a table in the middle of the terrace without a light and around 9 p.m. we could hardly see the food on the plate. I've seen lanterns on the tables in other restaurants. Even when paying, you had to be careful because the waitresses hardly recognized the receipt and I also had a hard time deciphering my banknotes. All in all, it was anything but a glorious performance and the evening was actually over. We can only hope that we caught a bad day today and that it is not a permanent condition. However, there was one person who had a really good day and that was the chef! There is someone in the kitchen who rightly bears this name. Despite all the stress, the dishes were of decent quality and extremely tasty. I wish you all the best and trouble-free days for the future...
