The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Despite our late arrival, we received a warm welcome and a cold platter was waiting for us. The rooms are nice and functional, and the sauna area is small but attractive. The varied breakfast left nothing to be desired, and the dinner was exactly to our liking. The hotel is located a stone's throw from the beach in a charming village. Rügen's many attractions are easily accessible by car. The stop for the "Rasender Roland" (a historic narrow-gauge railway) is within walking distance. It was a perfect stay.

The staff were very friendly and attentive in 2019. I was there on a singles holiday. That's where I met my now-wife. We're going back there again in a few days for a "Danish Christmas & Dreamy Baltic Sea" holiday. The price/performance ratio is still excellent!

Our favorite hotel!
We've been here three times now (2022, 2023, and 2025) and we're always happy to come back. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but renovations are already planned—that's the only minor criticism!
The staff is consistently very friendly and child-friendly, always striving to make every guest's stay as pleasant as possible. We've heard a few complaints from other guests—some are simply looking for faults.
Of all the BSW hotels we know, this is our favorite: the beach is just around the corner, the spa gardens are small but beautiful, many things are within walking distance—and you can regularly hear the steam locomotive whistle ❤️
We also can't understand the criticism of the room service at all (see photo).

This is our third time here with the family. The Seestern is our favorite hotel on Rügen. It's child-friendly, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast and dinner buffets are plentiful and delicious! The hotel's location is fantastic! Almost right on the beach, yet still centrally located in town.

We've just returned from Baabe. The hotel is fantastic. Breakfast and dinner were also delicious. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked for next year.
