Hotel am Hopfenmarkt in Rostock

Good hotel. I spent three nights there this week and I see more pros than cons, generally speaking. About 15 minutes by foot from the rostocker hbf. Nearby the old town and the new market. I was over the moon with my bed and pillows - fully comfortable, absolutely perfect. The breakfast was also tasty - wide range of products (vegetables, hams, bake rolls, cheese, cornflakes etc.), but the morning star was the orange juice🧃🍊 - 10/10 or even more than 10. I wish there was more warm stuff like roasted potatoes, sausage, scrambled eggs or pasta, because a week ago I had an opportunity to have such a breakfast in Spain.
I have only some doubts in curtains - market lamps stood next to my windows and I felt in the night like in Iceland, observing... orange nights. 😁
Anyway, I like this place and the hotel. Next year I'll be back. 🇩🇪⚓

“This hotel offers great value for money. The price is reasonable, the facilities are comfortable, and the location is very strategic — close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays.”

Convenient location in city centre.
Easy access to Central station by public transport.

Good value and great location. The reception was hard for us to find and we spent about 15 minutes wandering around, so it would be helpful to get an informational email saying exactly where to go for the reception. The name above the door wasn't the one we were expecting to see. Other than that it was all good!

Excellent hotel garni in the centre of Rostock
Excellent place. They need you to show up before 2000 hrs on the day you check in. This is a hotel garni so it doesn’t have a 24 hour reception. There is some out of hours service from the attached Leon’s restaurant. The place is tiptop. You might have to wend your way up or down some steps to get to the room. It’s small but ideal for an outdoors holiday where you only come in to stay at night.
