Excellent bang for your buck! The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it off, each room comes with its own private sauna. The inclusive breakfast is well-balanced and satisfying. The hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to tourist attractions via a nearby bus stop, just a quick 2-minute walk away. Overall, a truly pleasant experience!

I'll be honest, I gave the service one star only because when I arrived at the motel late at night. I wanted to wash, I went into the room, the room is cold. I thought, Well, at least I'll take a hot shower, at least there I'll warm up and go to sleep. After the hot water was turned on, and it flowed all the time, but there was no hot water, as it was only cold, I would have a suspicion. Why is there...

Really nice and basic room. We were welcomed by a gebtly lady who gave us the keys. Friendly lovely. Rooms are clean and a big plus u have a small table outside where u can sit and enjoy the evening... would be happy to stay another night and gladly come back here!

it's like traveling in time back to the sixties, including lemon rolls and broiler. The upper floor panorama bar is awesome... check it out.

Beautiful experience in this hotel. Old? Yes, but absolutely clean, everything works perfect. Breakfast? Delicious! With a lot of options for veggies and not veggies. Vegan? Watch out! Not that much options as well. With a beautiful view. The hotel was super quiet and chill, we were there for an entire week. Nice location, near the national park Jasmund and the Pier with a lot of good restaurants...

Very centrally located. Breakfast was great. Views from the sea facing rooms are really good. Rooms look a bit shabby but overall good experience and value for money.

I've been here for about three weeks for a job offshore the harbour, rooms are clean and nice, mine was facing the street so a bit noisy due to traffic and busses. the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all except at the entrance of the hotel but goes up and down. This is a nice hotel with excellent breakfast and an adjoining restaurant with good regional food. It is only steps away from the harbor, where ferrytrips are offered.

We had a room on the last floor with amazing view on the sea. Windows are looking to the east, and we really enjoyed the morning sun. There was even a small kitchen in the room. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best we've ever had at hotels.

Clean and quiet. Beautiful building on the outside, functional on the inside. Easy access. Great breakfast. Service by the staff was excellent, a shining example of German hospitality :)

Excellent small and friendly, more of a restaurant by the sea than a hotel. Rooms were cosy and clean and very traditional. Sea views from my room, harbour and waterfront 30 secs walk away

Nice Location. Great View. Hard Beds Perfect location in Sassnitz with seaview from the Room. Nice staff and clean room. We left before the breakfast but the staff gave us takeawaybags. Very nice. Little bit expensive parking in a parkhouse a few minutes away (15eur/24h). The beds was a little bit to hard and only one loose pillow. A couple of restaurants nearby.

Nice, cozy hotel on the promenade of Sassnitz. In the room was quiet although the restaurant is downstairs. Sea view from every hotel room. Huge breakfast served as buffet!

This restaurant is actually a Michelin recommendation. It is the best and oldest one in town and has been in business for well over 30 years.

The Hotel Waterkant corresponded exactly to our expectations. It's small and has a family feel. Owner and staff are really nice and accommodating. We felt comfortable from the first minute. We had a comfort room with a view of the harbor and the Baltic Sea. The breakfast was very varied. We will definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely come back ourselves.

Quiet location with nice surrounding. Rooms tidy and clean. Slept very well in the nice bed. Nice breakfast buffet with enough choices. A fantastic view of the harbor from the breakfast room. Free parking and free wifi. Close to everything in town. Many channels on the TV, but not a single channel in English. The BBC or CNN with news had been interesting.

We felt very comfortable and everything was very friendly. The room was great and the view was amazing. Only the smell of cigarette smoke in the entire stairwell was very unpleasant. Fortunately, there was nothing to be noticed in the rooms

Nice quiet hotel stay. Lady at front desk smokes so the damn hallways on the upper floors smell like smoke in the stairwell near elevator. It should be smoke free area.

We were only there for one night before we had to move on. Super cozy place. Small hotel/boarding house. There was what was supposed to be. Very clean and nice. Close to both the harbour, shopping and the train station. Sweet hostess. My lousy German and her limited English worked out fine.

Nice reception and good location in Sassnitz. Very large and clean double room with kitchenette (stove, refrigerator, sink and dishwasher) and the largest TV I have ever had in a hotel ☺️ Small garden area with seating. Beds are a bit soft but that's a matter of taste. In my case, windows went out on the street side and of course there was a slight background noise. Didn't bother me and otherwise everything...

It is a nice modern Hotel. You have 5 minutes Walkway to the harbour.

Clean, quiet, late arrival is not a problem, stuff is giving you a call and the room is waiting for you. Early breakfast from 5am is really helpful. Nice and easy.

As per the instructions on the website I contacted the hotel prior to my visit as I would be arriving after the official check-in time. Sassnitz Stop over 1 night for the ferry Service to Trelleborg, perfect location, close to the Strandpromenade and harbour. The only setback was “cash only” which should have informed b4 booking.

The breakfast was excellent, and the owner was very nice woman we felt like at home, the view from the balcony was amazing, the Villa was very good located and very clean. I strongly recomend it.
