Kurhotel Sassnitz in Sassnitz

The Kurhotel is in very central place in Sassnitz. Hotel is big and has plenty of light with big windows and wide corridoors. Our room was big and very sparsely decorated and furnished. In the end we were missing only a refrigerator.. There wasn't much of the view from our ground floor room and the hotel and restaurant staff were spending their well earned breaks under our windows... and smoking there.

Scenic harbor in walking distance. Multiple restaurants in surroundings. And the old forest a small drive away.

My husband and I recently stayed at Kurhotel and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The hotel itself is charming and has a delightful nautical theme throughout. The decorations are filled with sea-related elements, giving the place a lot of character. Our room was comfortable and had two large windows, one of which could open entirely. Unfortunately, the sauna was under construction during our visit, so I can't comment on that. However, the staff was friendly and helpful in most interactions. One downside we encountered was a miscommunication about the breakfast. When we checked in, I asked if it was included in our stay, and the staff member said yes. However, when we checked out, a different staff member informed us that breakfast was 25 euros per day for the two of us. While the breakfast itself was excellent and we enjoyed it, it would have been better to have accurate information from the start.

Overall: good place if you're visiting Sassnitz.

Spacious rooms, breakfast welk organised via time frames and buffet. Good place central to make a walk to the harbour.

Feel yourself like in museum

I liked everything about this hotel. They keep the old fishermen style about it while keeping other things up to date. The food was very nice and the stuff were polite.
