We has a magical stay in Schwerin at this hotel. It was a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Our room were large and beautiful and the lake view room on the 3rd floor has an amazing view. Just a short walk to the old city and the castle. I would highly recommend this hotel to all visiting Schwerin.

Unfriendly welcome, if they say there is no available room reserve it from booking.com. High rated breakfast, interesting how because they serve very limited and tasteless variety. Uncomfortable bed.

I'll start with what went less well: The noise insulation of the room was bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking, and we could clearly tell what TV channel they were watching. I'm guessing it was an elderly couple, as they woke up at 7am and would watch TV until the breakfast buffet started at 8am. Two nights in a row, that I didn't get a full nights sleep. I felt so safe when staying at Hotel Speicher am Ziegelsee. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was allergy free and safe. I have a number of allergies and they accomodated all of my food allergies. I had the best meal of local fish and vegetables plus dessert which I never get. For us the best hotel in Schwerin. Of course not in the center, but this is compensated by the location with a view of the lake, service, room and breakfast of very good quality. Great restaurant with outdoor/garden seating area. Perfect to relax after a long day at the office. Bedrooms need some refresh because they look a bit dated. But the beds are comfy and area is quiet. The WiFi is very weak so don’t rely on it.

We spent a weekend here to visit relatives in Schwerin. The hotel is located in a rural setting, a bit outside of town, but the center is still a quick drive away. A nice hotel, just outside the train station. Regarding what you pay, it's a nice value for money! I would stay again.

Good location. The room is cozy and clean. The bed is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and polite. Breakfast was good. It's not a posh hotel, just tidy, clean and nice. We had a good time. Thanks.

I was here for a conference. The central location of the hotel is excellent with amazing parking options with affordable rates. However the conference room was small and dingy. The opening of a window was not possible so that the air inside could be cut with a knife. But apart from that there was plenty of natural lighting in the foyer and Breakfast lounge.

Good value for money. Perfect situated in the middle of town with the railway station as neighbor.

I was here for a meeting meaning that my review is solely focussed on the service, catering and parking. The food was excellent. They were mostly fingerfoods for the event. However it was world class. The staff were however not well informed on what they served meaning they could not tell us what exactly they were serving us with respect to the Vegans in the group. The stay at the hotel was good

The rooms are excellent, but the breakfast is terrible. For €19, I expect at least a little effort. My impression is that they did everything so that they could say that they have breakfast, without bothering about the details of the taste, not to mention the arrangement.

Great hotel with extremely friendly service! We booked on short notice and found a great deal. Our room was huge for us, way bigger than we expected from the description. Breakfast was very decent with pancakes, an omelette station, fruits, bread, and cereals. An easy to find, and quiet hotel. Not much sound outside. Easy to rest out after a long drive 😴 Very nice rooms, that have a cool design and a premium feel to them 👏 People who work here are nice and welcoming. Parking inside hotel garage. Price is ok, but I believe it would have been cheaper to order through booking.com. Will recommend!

This was one of the nicest and best value for money hotels I’ve stayed in. The rooms were really spacious and well maintained, the bed was comfy, the whole ambiance of the building was lovely. Very nice boutique hotel located right in the city centre. Great wine offering and the hotel also offers parking spaces in the garage which is located in the basement. The garage is quite narrow but a medium sized SUV fits in perfectly.

My husband and I had a fabulous dinner and 1 night stay here. We had the 4 course vegetarian tasting menu which was delicious. The dining room is beautiful and ambience was lovely with a great pianist playing a range of music. Bedroom was nice and spacious and clean, with a comfy bed and no noise from outside. Breakfast also very nice. Highly recommend the restaurant & hotel.
