It’s a nice hotel just at the main train station

The room is old and the bed is really narrow, but the location is very good. You can see it as soon as you exit the train station. It is only 100 meters away from the train station, and the surrounding scenery is very good.

We booked this hotel out of convenience during a road trip around Germany. We were having difficulties finding a place in Hamburg and found out Schwerin has a very nice castle and is a very beautiful city off the beaten path. In many ways, this hotel is perfect. However, there's one fatal flaw: the toilet doesn't flush properly. I've been to many restrooms in many countries, but this is the first time I've experienced a toilet that doesn't flush as well as the one in this hotel room. The shared restroom was fine.

It's a 15-minute drive from the city. It's clean, reasonably priced, and dog-friendly. Great value for money! The only downside is that it's far from the city! It's best to drive!

The rooms are excellent, but the breakfast is terrible. For €19, I expect at least a little effort. My impression is that they did everything so that they could say that they have breakfast, without bothering about the details of the taste, not to mention the arrangement.

Lovely Hotel in a very nice location

I'll start with what went less well: The noise insulation of the room was bad. We could hear the people in the next room talking, and we could clearly tell what TV channel they were watching. I'm guessing it was an elderly couple, as they woke up at 7am and would watch TV until the breakfast buffet started at 8am. Two nights in a row, that I didn't get a full nights sleep. A beautiful hotel by Lake ziegelsee. The hotel had their own boat dock. The view from our room was of the lake. The was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly, and check in was quick. My only complaint was lack of air conditioning. It was quite warm when we were there even with windows open. Breakfast buffet was good.

Great location to visit Schwerin Great location between the castle and the marketplace. Friendly staff and a comfortable room. I added breakfast and was glad I had - a nice continental selection with some hot food too.

The service in the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good with organic products. The hotel is very centrally located, the city center, shopping, restaurants and sights are very easy to reach. A multi-track railway line runs right past the hotel room. We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were great, the food tasty, and the rooms clean. One night when we arrived back a little late with seem friends, the staff kept the bar open for us so we could enjoy a night cap.

We booked a room with a terrace. We liked the bright bedroom with its comfortable bed. However, we were disappointed with the bathroom. The hotel website shows a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. What we got was a bathroom that felt like it had been thrown back to the 80s/90s. The shower in the bathtub was anything but inviting! We had booked for two people, and there was only one set of towels...

Great restaurant with outdoor/garden seating area. Perfect to relax after a long day at the office. Bedrooms need some refresh because they look a bit dated. But the beds are comfy and area is quiet. The WiFi is very weak so don’t rely on it.

Great location, perfect when travelling with your dog. They cater to dogs, allowed in the restaurant and you a great dog and walking path right outside the hotel and along the lake.

Fantastic hotel, short walk to and from the train station. Great location to walk to the castle and tons of restaurants around. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and they were so helpful. Big clean albeit a little dated room. It was warm, clean and tidy. Breakfast was nice. It’s handy for Schwerin and there is a tram stop outside. Friendly staff. No English channels on tv/no kettle in room. It was comfortable enough and not bad value.

Need to invest Beds are super uncomfortable, and pillows are useless. Need to spend a little money on some decent pillows as sleeping is impossible. I would not visit again due to this.

The staff is amazing. Is not so close from the city but there is public transportation (just check the times), the mall is close by and a lot of shops there.

It was quite nice stay. Personal and cleaning stuff did all a good job. Location is ok, quiet but a bit far off City. A problem to me was that I got no real Non-smoking room. Outside at window (roof) was full of remains of cigarettes! I directly send complaint to BB Hotels. That's some for me which is inacceptable.
