My room was clean and nice with the latest of comforts. I was specially impressed by the in-room refreshments in the refrigerator. It was stocked with beverages of all kinds - alcoholic and non alcoholic. All were reasonably priced. Their restaurant seemed like a very good place to eat. While I didn't get to have dinner there, the breakfast fare is excellent. I got to meet and talk with the owner manager and his wife, both of whom I thought were very nice. If you stay here, you must take the 25 minute walk into Bergish Gladbach and experience the local restaurants and culture. Though I don't speak German, the restaurant staff was very friendly and accommodating. Should I find myself in Cologne again, I will definitely try to book a room here again.
Friendly staff at the front Desk but the Hotel can not be recommended by me for business travelers with any and all necessary appointment changes.
Verbal commitment was not met despite a written from the Hotel, and desired the confirmation of a Vermittlerprotals.
